The cabin and its location are beautiful. But here are a few tips for future visitors:1. If the door code does not work when you arrive, make sure you login to the host's wifi using the password sent to you, and then turn on wifi calling to call the host. This happened to us and the host said it never happened before. He was able to reset the code remotely after about 30 minutes.2. We missed that there was no microwave on the list of amenities. So don't plan on bringing food to heat up in a microwave.3. When we were there the temperature was below zero for a couple nights. The two Mitsubishi wall heaters don't work at these temperatures, and the baseboard heaters had trouble keeping up at night, making for chilly mornings. The woodburning stove worked well, but then it got too warm later in the day. 4. The living room couch and chair are getting very worn out and could use an upgrade.5. Firewood was stacked and covered through deep snow in the side yard so we managed to ration the wood provided inside to last the 3 days we were there. Bring some paper to help start your fires.Overall this is a very nice place for a get-away. I wish we could give it a higher rating, but we stayed in a cabin in Muncy Valley, PA, that set the standard for us for a top rating. This one was not quite at that level. But you should definitely consider this one if you want a get-away.
