The hotel keeper at the front desk was very friendly and I was pleased with my room. The bed was not comfortable and the TV had a lot of trouble keeping signal but it was alright because the AC and WIFI worked perfectly and to me that is more important. I was bothered several times by the surrounding inhabitants. A homeless couple guilt tripped me for food when I was on my way into Jack int he Box next door, which I did buy them a meal. I hope I don't sound cruel but I am not wealthy myself and it isn't as though I can afford to buy meals for strangers when I'm trying to pinch every penny. The convenience store was just next door to the hotel but was a disgusting mess with loitering thugs just hanging out for no apparent reason. But we had no problems or bad encounters. all in all you get what you pay for and we had 4 decent days at the hotel.
