About this property
Léopoldine House, view of the gulf
Just a short walk from Piazzale Echia, with a breathtaking view of the Gulf of Naples. The newly inaugurated designer elevator, carved into the tuff rock, has just opened. A 3-minute walk from Piazza Plebiscito, the Royal San Carlo Theatre, and Via Toledo. It is one of the most characteristic areas in the historic centre, full of artisan shops. Built on the ruins of ancient Neapolis, dating back to Greek times, it served as the natural setting for the TV series “I Bastardi di Pizzofalcone.” Just a short walk away are the Quartieri Spagnoli, the heart of Naples’ nightlife, filled with bars and small taverns. This area was built over the ancient Bourbon tunnel, the king’s escape route to the sea in case of an enemy attack. The distinctive labyrinth of Bourbon tunnels is open daily for guided tours. It’s a safe area, and the people are friendly and welcoming. Since it’s an old building, there is no elevator. And people still lower their shopping baskets from the balconies to buy groceries. This charming apartment is located on the third floor. From here, the view of the quaint alleys of the historic centre is very popular with tourists. Wi-Fi is available in all rooms. Sheets and towels are included in the price. It has air conditioning, and the ancient tuff stone walls ensure it stays cool all day long. I also provide guided tours. The Agnano Thermal Baths are a favourite among tourists for a dip in the mineral-rich springs.
Naples City Centre, a neighborhood in Naples, is home to this apartment. Port of Naples and Molo Beverello Port are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those in the mood for shopping can visit Via Toledo and Galleria Umberto I. Naples Aquarium and Botanical Garden of Naples are also worth visiting. Visit our Naples travel guide
