Charming cottage, close to lower Main Street. You will love the central location of this charming stand alone cottage just over one block from the cobblestones of lower Main Street! (17a Washington St, across from flagpole). The 1 bedroom is well equipped with high end appliances, washer, dryer, central air conditioner, two flat screen TVs (one in the bedroom and one in the living room, pull out sofa in Livingroom). Gleaming hardwood floors, wainscoting on walls, cathedral ceilings, new kitchen, new bathroom, new everything! High end kitchen with refrigerator, range, dishwasher and wine cooler. This cottage will comfortably hold a couple. All you can wish for with shops, restaurants, grocery stores, coffee shops all a very short and lovely walk. If you prefer to have a car let us know, as there is parking available. Lastly, we urge our guests purchase outside travel insurance that covers trip cancellations due to dangerous travel conditions from bad weather since we are on an island subject to wind and high seas. It had all the amenities you need! The kitchen is fully functional! We ate most of our breakfasts and lunches (and fixed packed lunches) here, as well as a dinner. The location cannot be beat! Very short walk to the grocery store, Main Street and the harbor. The cottage sits back from the road, so you hardly noticed any traffic noise even during the busiest part of the day! The first 2 days we stayed right in the vicinity of the cottage and walked everywhere. So much to do near town. We rented a car for two days and the driveway made it so convenient to park.
