The property was beautiful - so clean, perfect use of the space and the kids room was great with toys, books and movies. The spa got a work out and that was definitely a highlight. Right across the road from a playground - the kids spent a lot of time there and loved it. The kitchen had everything you needed plus more. We had a 37 degree day with no wind - the aircon worked a treat in the living areas and there were fans in the bedrooms that got us through. It is next to the main road so we did hear trucks go past but it wasn’t super busy or impact our stay. The communication with the owners was great and super easy check in and check out process. The property was clean and tidy with warm and comfortable beds. A beautiful country view from any of the three comfortable seating/lounging areas on the generous verandah out the back. A well compliled book with heaps of local information from where to eat, where to go, and where to get medical assistance. There was a warm and cosy hot tub to enjoy and understandabley, you had to shower before and after use. Sadly, with only 1 towel per person, this was not an ideal situation in the cold months. A short leisurely stroll, and you're in this picturesque and quaint little town with an array of different shops. I was looking for a quiet and relaxing getaway from the city. Unfortunately, I went by the tranquil large open spaces seen in the photos and didn't research the area prior to booking as I normally would. The property was located on a bend on the main road, so the noise was a pretty consistent mix of cars and trucks.The local skate park was right next door, separated by a road. Unaware to us, there was a garden and flower festival on, so that was a bonus, and I certainly injected some cash into the local community. Overall, it's a great property if you're not seeking peace and quiet. (Take an extra towel if you plant to use the hot tub) ##### Donna T.
