About this property

Private Ranch House, Highland Cattle, Horses & Peaceful Views - a soul refresher

  • Experience the beauty of Southern Oregon from our private ranch house, located on a working cattle ranch in the peaceful countryside of Myrtle Creek. This is a quiet, authentic rural stay surrounded by open pasture, rolling hills, and our registered Scottish Highland cattle and horses.
Our ranch house is ideal for couples, small families, or guests visiting nearby friends or family who appreciate nature, animals, and a slower pace of life.

    - The Space -
The home is fully private and comfortably appointed with 1100 sq ft, screened porch, and sunroom. It offers:
. One private bedroom with a king bed and black out curtains.
. One additional open sleeping area with two pull-out twin chair beds and separate TV, also with black out curtains
This room is separate but does not have doors
Best suited for children or teenagers, not adults seeking full privacy
    .Comfortable living space
    .Well-equipped kitchen
    .Full bathroom
    Air conditioning and heating
Outdoor space with scenic ranch views
Guests enjoy the feeling of being “away from it all” while still having easy access to Medford to Eugene, Crater Lake, waterfalls, and Hiking trails, and wineries.

    -The Kitchen-
The ranch house features a fully stocked kitchen, perfect for preparing meals during your stay. Guests have access to a gas stove and oven, refrigerator, microwave, and essential cookware, dishes, and utensils. Whether you’re cooking a full family meal or enjoying a quiet breakfast before heading out for the day, the kitchen is well-equipped to make you feel at home.

    - Sleeping Arrangements (Important)
Bedroom 1: King bed (private bedroom)
Additional Sleeping Area: Open room with two pull-out twin chair beds
    .No doors
    .Best for children or teens
.Play and Pac available for babies/toddlers
Please review this layout carefully to ensure it meets your group’s privacy needs before booking.

    - Working Ranch Notice -
Please note that this is a working cattle ranch. We raise registered Scottish Highland cattle and cut and bale our own hay.
During certain seasons, guests may see or hear:
    .Tractors and ranch vehicles
    .Haying and field work
.Ranch equipment stored or operated near the rental area
These activities are a normal part of agricultural life and part of the authentic ranch experience. While we do our best to minimize disruption, guests should expect typical rural sights and sounds.

    -Ranch Safety & Respect-
    For everyone’s safety:
Guests are asked to remain within designated guest areas
Please do not enter fenced pastures, barns, or equipment areas unless invited
Livestock and equipment should always be viewed from a safe distance.

    No Pets Policy (Biosecurity)
    -No pets permitted-
Due to biosecurity concerns related to our registered Scottish Highland cattle, we are unable to allow pets of any kind on the property. This policy helps protect the health and safety of our livestock and ranch operations. Thank you for understanding.

    -Animal Interaction (Optional & Guest-Favorite)-
Guests are welcome to join us during morning and evening feeding times to interact with and feed treats to the animals, when schedules allow. This is a favorite part of the stay for many guests and offers a wonderful opportunity to learn more about our registered Scottish Highland cattle and horses.
Participation is entirely optional, and feeding times may vary based on ranch operations, weather, and seasonal needs. For safety, animal interactions are always host-guided.
