Young and Restless - Oceanfront in Garden City Beach

"Young and Restless" welcomes you to a gorgeous 4,000 sq ft home with stunning waterway views. A secluded beach awaits you just steps off the shaded back porch, which is equipped for family meals; a propane grill is right outside. Enjoy a private swim in the heated three-season 32'x16' inground pool with a custom-built Tiki Hut. There are even two enclosed outdoor showers. The pool is heated from 3/1 to 5/30 and 9/1 to 11/1, when air temp is not below 55 degrees Fahrenheit. This well-maintained property is directly across the street from the Marlin Quay Marina, which offers slip rentals, fishing charters, sunset cruises, and other outings. Try the marina's restaurant for a casual fine dining refuge or take the water taxi to the Marshwalk for your choice of waterfront dining options in the heart of the historic fishing village.

Indoors, the house is fitted with wireless internet and every bedroom has a flat screen tv. The spacious, fully equipped kitchen has been updated with granite countertops and stainless appliances. Clean up is a breeze with two dishwashers and a washer/dryer tucked into the first floor for optimal convenience. With 7 bedrooms, this home will comfortably sleep 22. Five bedrooms open out onto the Atlantic Coast beach, while the other two bedrooms enjoy a magnificent view of Marlin Quay Marina and Murrells Inlet across the creek. Deep covered porches invite you to watch sunrises over the ocean and sunsets over the creek. No pets allowed. NO SMOKING in the house or on the balconies.

We had a wonderful time. The house was exactly as described, plenty of room with breath-taking views. Even our neighbors were great! The only issues we encountered would be with the upkeep/cleanliness. Several of the air vents had black mold around them as well as the wood on the staircase. The kitchen had dust balls hanging from the ceiling. We overlooked it due to still being in the busier season. I highly recommend the paint the areas with Kilz soon! I would definitely stay again pending the mold situation is taken care of.

awesome place

The house was amazing , we all loved it. The one incident we had was the microwave stopped working I called and told them and they sent someone over immediately. Unable to fix it at that time so they bought us another one to use. The house was clean and neat and nicely decorated . The whole family said we could go back to this house next year. We all enjoyed the pool.

Great vacation home with plenty of room for the entire family.

This home was perfect for our large family to come together. We enjoyed the beach and the pool and the home was clean and beautiful with every amenity you would need. We are grateful for the hospitality and would stay here again.

Needs updates

Loved our stay, however kitchen counters had mustard and crumbs . Coffee maker had grease popped all over it. Upstairs balcony carpet was worn out needs replacing .Rain was running in downstairs patio bedroom (side with two bedrooms) Housekeeping was not very good. Piled all containers on front porch instead of at least putting off to the side. Could use a second refrigerator with that many guest. All in all a very nice place to stay after a little cleaning. Would recommend to anyone.Ideal location.Just needs some updating for that much rent.

An absolutely terrific location and property!

My family and I had a wonderful time at the Young and Restless. The location is terrific and property/views simply stunning. We had multiple families adding up to 20 people and the house had ample room for all of us. We all enjoyed our stay immensely here. We highly recommend it and would come back in a heartbeat!

2021 Family Vacation

Arrived 5:30 on and the house was not ready. I was informed I should go to the store while a second crew assisted in getting it ready. After going to the store the house still was not ready. Called Dunes and was told due to Covid they could not hire enough staff. Asked to her the pool cleaned. The house was not ready until 7:30. Upon entering the home only 3 beds had linens placed on them. The refrigerator (duck tape on refrigerator shelves) had someone else’s stuff in it, there was a water bottle, receipt and change in one of the night stands, a chick-fila bag under a bed, children open koolaid drink in a drawer. When going to use the washer a poopie pair of panties was left in the washer. The house is a very nice house and the location was great the cleanliness left much to be desired but after cleaning we enjoyed our trip.

Nice house, needs some updates

Hard to comment on cleanliness or check in process due to labor shortage. The house was very nice. Could use a larger refrigerator for such a large house. Maybe a second fridge in the bar would help. The location of the pool was not as big of a deal as we thought. The porch on the back of the house was great.

Nice Place for a large family vacation.

We enjoyed staying at the young and restless house. It was well equipped for large families. This house is right in the beach with a private pool in front so there is always something to do. The house it’s self is a little older but was comfortable to be in. I would say it could have been a little cleaner when we arrived but other than that it was great! Thanks!
