(72 reviews) Room was a little rustic and full of mosquitoes. It would be nice if the maids would keep the doors closed when they are working on the room so they don’t fill up with mosquitoes every day. The pool was kinda iffy. The walk to the waterfront and ferry was less than 10 minutes, so that wasn’t too bad. The restaurant on site was pretty good. It was nice that they had a water machine in the room. (1 review) Watercolors in Roatán is a beautiful property surrounded by lush trees and with a lovely beach. The pool is huge and includes a hot tub that faces the ocean — truly stunning. Our condo was brand new, with spacious rooms, comfortable beds, and luxury finishes. The location is perfect, right between West End and West Bay. However, no one informed us that the property was still under construction. There were workers and construction noise nearby while we were trying to relax, which took away from the experience. Parking was also inconvenient — you have to leave your car on a dirt road and walk quite a distance to reach your condo. I believe once the entire project is finished, Watercolors will be an amazing place to stay. For now, it’s beautiful but not yet ready for a completely relaxing vacation.
