This property features a fully-equipped kitchen including a microwave and dishwasher, as well as a washer, dryer, central heat and air conditioning, and ceiling fans throughout. Five TVs (Roku in the living room) and Wi-Fi are also included. Sleeping accommodations include two king and three double-sized beds. Outdoor amenities include two covered porches overlooking the marsh and a charcoal grill. Community amenities include a swimming pool and pool furniture. Dog friendly. Limit two dogs. The maximum weight limit is 70 pounds for one dog and 50 pounds for two dogs. Please see the office for pet policy details. Permits motorcycles. Golf carts permitted. Parking space is limited. No smoking. Maximum occupancy: 10 Conveniently located close to some of the best area attractions, Garden City Beach is directly south of Surfside Beach and ends on a peninsula at the mouth of Murrells Inlet. One of the most renowned attractions in Garden City Beach is the Pier at Garden City. Other points of interest include Marlin Quay Marina and restaurants, Sara J's Seafood Restaurant, Gulf Stream Cafe, and Original Sam's Corner. Just south of Garden City Beach is Murrells Inlet, a seaside community considered the "Seafood Capital of South Carolina" and home to some of the nation's best golf courses. Once primarily a fishing village, the town is best known for the Murrells Inlet MarshWalk, a half-mile-long boardwalk overlooking a pristine salt marsh, and the many award-winning restaurants along Highway 17 Business in the central business district. Brookgreen Gardens, a sculpture garden and wildlife preserve built on four former rice plantations, is located slightly south of the MarshWalk. It features several themed gardens with American figurative sculptures, trails through several nature reserve ecosystems, and the Lowcountry Zoo. If you're looking for places to shop, The Market Common, Broadway at the Beach, Barefoot Landing, two Tanger shopping outlets, Myrtle Beach Boardwalk and Promenade, and many more shopping facilities are all within an easy drive from Garden City Beach. Looking for entertainment and attractions? Take in a show at Pirates Voyage, Medieval Times, Alabama Theater, The Carolina Opry, or Legends in Concert. We ended up in the house more than the beach due to the storm, so one small negative for us was the only TVs with streaming capabilities were the master and living room. The other bedrooms had nothing connected. The other small disappointment for our teens was the pool. It’s very small - basically a kiddie pool. Only enough room for a few people. Other than those 2 minuses for us, it was a good place to stay, close to the beach and not too far from the pier.
