This home features a fully-equipped kitchen complete with microwave and dishwasher, as well as a washer, dryer, central heat and air conditioning, ceiling fans, and ceramic tile flooring. Seven flat screen TVs (three with cable, one Smart TV, three with Roku), two DVD Players, telephone, and Wi-Fi are also provided. Sleeping accommodations include two king, one queen and five double-sized beds. A 12-by-26-foot private swimming pool, furnished pool deck, screened porch, sundeck, and floating dock complete the outdoor living space. Ample parking (some covered). No smoking. No pets. Conveniently located close to some of the best area attractions, Garden City Beach is directly south of Surfside Beach and ends on a peninsula at the mouth of Murrells Inlet. One of the most renowned attractions in Garden City Beach is the Pier at Garden City. Other points of interest include Marlin Quay Marina and restaurants Sara J's Seafood Restaurant, Gulfstream Café, and Original Sam's Corner. Just south of Garden City Beach is Murrells Inlet, a seaside community considered the "Seafood Capital of South Carolina" and home to some of the nation's best golf courses. Once primarily a fishing village, the town is best known for the Murrells Inlet MarshWalk, a half-mile-long boardwalk overlooking a pristine salt marsh, and the many award-winning restaurants along Highway 17 Business in the central business district. Brookgreen Gardens, a sculpture garden and wildlife preserve built on four former rice plantations, is located slightly south of the MarshWalk. It features several themed gardens with American figurative sculptures, trails through several nature reserve ecosystems, and the Lowcountry Zoo. If you're looking for places to shop, The Market Common, Broadway at the Beach, Barefoot Landing, two Tanger shopping outlets, Myrtle Beach Boardwalk and Promenade, and many more shopping facilities are all within an easy drive from Garden City Beach. Looking for entertainment and attractions? Take in a show at Pirates Voyage, Medieval Times, Alabama Theater, The Carolina Opry, or Legends in Concert. Then visit SkyWheel Myrtle Beach, Ripley's Aquarium, WonderWorks, Ripley's Believe It Or Not Odditorium, Hollywood Wax Museum Entertainment Center, and The Pavilion Nostalgia Park. Other points of interest close by include the waterfront community of Georgetown, the third oldest city in South Carolina and the second largest seaport in South Carolina, and historic Conway, with its downtown Riverwalk area nestled on the banks of the Waccamaw River. Both towns include fine dining, shopping, and historic sites. Take a day trip to Charleston to experience shopping, a harbor cruise, a city carriage tour, or a plantation tour. Charleston is only 87 miles from Garden City Beach - approximately two hours. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family had a wonderful time - the inlet wasnt as exciting as we thought - being at the end it becomes kind of a "catchall for all the \*\*\*\* brought in" but it was different and access to the beach was fantastic. Reviewer Comments: There were two things in particular that we felt was lacking, one there was no toilet paper in any of the bathrooms, and no paper towels for the kitchen. Very odd. The house was decorated nicely and the mattresses were fine as well, but the kitchen was absolutely horrible and outdated. It lacked proper utensils, there were no pot holders, oven mitts, nor dish rags or towels. We had to buy these items to use. We have 13-15 family members with us each year, and there is plenty of room to spread out yet still be close together. Reviewer Comments: The house and pool were great and so was the location. The only problem for me was this was to be a fishing vacation and there was no water at the dock at low tide. it was completely mud. When we inquired about the dock pre-rental we were led to believe you could leave a boat at the dock but it was not so.
