Waters Edge oceanfront luxury for two (or three, or six). If space is important, even if just for the two of you, this is your vacation home. No need to pay for a two or three bedroom condo to get room to relax, this spacious one bedroom has the same size living area as two and three bedroom units, along with two full bathrooms. From the fourth floor, the view is spectacular, but you're not so high that you can't hear the ocean. Every vacation day begins and ends with the beauty of blue sky and golden sand and the soothing sound of ocean waves that you will enjoy from comfortable furnishings. Both sofas convert to queen size beds. A 50" inch TV has been added recently. Waters Edge is a premium condo resort. There are large indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a hot tub, exercise facilities, a lounge, restaurant and convenience store, all on the premises. The elevator from the lobby provides excellent handicapped access. When you're ready to feel the soft warm sand between your toes, the Garden City beach is right out from the lobby. The bedroom has a king size bed, closet and dresser to provide ample storage space, and a private bathroom. The fully equipped kitchen includes a full size refrigerator, stove with oven, microwave, toaster, small appliances, pots and pans. Dishes, glassware and tableware are on hand. Linens are provided, beds will be made, some soap, paper towels and trash bags will be on hand to get you started. You will not begin your vacation by making beds or running to the store to get toilet paper immediately! Garden City is perfect for a family vacation or romantic getaway, away from the traffic and crowds, but still a short drive to attractions. The Garden City Beach pier, restaurants and shops are .7 of a mile south from Waters Edge. The Surfside Beach pier, restaurants, bars and shopping are a short drive (or a pleasant, longer walk) north. Luxury shopping and dining are a few minutes north in the Market Commons area. All the attractions, dining and shopping of Broadway at the Beach, Coastal Grand, and the Myrtle Beach downtown boardwalk are just a bit further north. For a unique cultural experience, Brookgreen Gardens displays one of the world's largest collections of sculpture by American artists in a lush outdoor setting, along with a zoo and butterfly garden. It's just a few minutes south. This is the place to enjoy an ocean view with plenty of space, is it not? The person renting this property must be at least 25 years old, have a valid credit card, and be present for the entire rental. Parking is limited at all oceanfront properties. We can only provide the number of parking tags allowed by the Home Owners Association and property manager. With this unit, we can only provide ONE parking tag. None of these properties provide more than TWO parking tags. Additional parking tags are available at the discretion of the building management between Nov. 15 - Mar. 15. Additionally, the posting stated we would get free DAILY tickets to the top local attractions only to find out after booking that was not true. We planned this as a family vacation and we’re looking forward to having the free tickets as it would’ve saved us hundreds of dollars. The owner advised us that the listing was incorrect and provided a small accommodation unfortunately, that was nowhere near how much even two tickets to one of the local attractions cost. I have a special place in my heart for the resort. The pool and hot tub temperatures were perfect, per usual. The little cafe has the best BLTs. The beach is lovely and about 3/4 mi walk to the pier. The room was clean besides some linens left in the washer and on the pull out bed. One of the pull out beds is absolutely horrible with springs poking out. Wouldn’t intend to use both of them for your stay. The king size bed was ok for a couple nights. The shower knob was broken but the water pressure was pretty good. For as much as I paid to stay, I would expect some updates. Seemed like one of the better units to stay in at waters edge, though! Some of the other guest were complaining of mold and plumping issues. I did not have any issues with utilities or mold. It was very clean ##### Trisha C.
