Work will include balcony and window repairs, painting, and waterproofing. Guests will experience construction noise, limited access to certain areas (including balconies), and visible work crews. This oceanfront condo remains available for rent, still offering stunning ocean views and direct beach access, at 30% off (discount included in the price you see)! Due to unforeseen circumstances (weather & construction delays), dates can be extended. NO further discounts or refunds will be given during your stay\*\*\* Not too high but high enough, not too low but low enough, just right, right on the beach, with three bedrooms. If you like the amenities and convenience of a modern condo, but want to keep the beach feeling, don't like being too high, this fourth floor Atalaya Tower condo is for you. Many vacationers find the fourth floor perfect, high enough for an excellent view, and maybe some dolphin spotting, but low enough to enjoy the soothing sound of the ocean waves. This comfortably furnished, tastefully decorated oceanfront three bedroom condo has space for the whole family to relax and enjoy vacation at the beach. Relax after each energetic vacation day in the well furnished living room with flat screen TV, and DVD player for movie entertainment. There are even DVD movies on hand, along with books and games for all ages. The freshly remodeled kitchen has a ceramic top range and all the appliances and cooking utensils you might need to prepare meals, along with a washer and dryer for laundry. The dining table and breakfast bar provide seating for ten, and there are plenty of dishes and tableware to go around. The master bedroom has a king size bed, flat screen TV, with plenty of storage space in the dresser and closet, along with a full bathroom. The second bedroom has two double beds and TV. The third bedroom has twin beds and a TV. There is cable service to all four televisions. A full bathroom is convenient to both bedrooms. Atalaya Tower has an outdoor swimming pool with plenty of lounge chairs on the street side to catch the afternoon sunshine. There is also an indoor pool and hot tub, so you can enjoy swimming rain or shine. Gas grills are available when you want to barbecue. The lobby is locked after hours for your safety and security. There are two elevators, and carts to make unloading and loading much easier. There are two parking places per unit, one in front of the building, one across the street. Linens are provided, beds will be made, some soap, paper towels and trash bags will be on hand. You will not begin your vacation by making beds or running to the store to get toilet paper! Garden City is perfect for a family vacation, away from the traffic and crowds, but still a short drive to attractions. Over 100 golf courses are within a few miles. You're just a half mile from the Garden City pier, an enjoyable walk. The Surfside Beach pier, restaurants, bars and shopping are a short drive (or a pleasant, longer walk) north. Luxury shopping and dining are a few minutes north in the Market Commons center. All the attractions, dining and shopping of Broadway at the Beach, Coastal Grand, and the Myrtle Beach downtown boardwalk are just a short drive north. For a unique cultural experience, Brookgreen Gardens displays one of the world's largest collections of sculpture by American artists in a lush outdoor setting, along with a zoo and butterfly garden. It's just a few minutes south. The person renting this property must be 25 years old, have a valid credit card, and be present for the entire rental. The only reason I gave 4 stars on the cleanliness was because the only working elevator was dirty and the stairway. This was not an issue of the condo though it was an issue with the building. The 2nd elevator was out which made a huge process to get to your condo or back to the ground floor. The wait was so long. Hopefully they get that fixed soon. They have a huge parking area which is a plus compared to all the other rentals in the area. The overflow parking across the street was only monitored one day which was the 4th of July. The rest of our week the parking lot was full of cars with no parking passes. Overall we enjoyed ourselves, condo was as described, amazing communication with itrip vacations, and a lot of memories made. Thank you ##### Sara E. Although the condo was as pictured, it had many unseen issues: poor wifi/cable, outdated electric, very poor televisions-instructions. It could be fabulous with updates and new decor-very lacking in comfort items such as hooks in the bathrooms, rugs, and storage. The master bedroom bed was very comfortable but the guest room beds were just ok. As many others in MB, the building suffered storm damage and was being renovated (1 elevator, painting etc). However, the building staff were very friendly and responsive. Communication with the management company for the owner was frustrating because they did not seem to be on the same page with each other or the building management (ie door codes, notice of entrance to our unit for building-wide wifi and then failure to notify us of the new access codes). Despite our issues, the view and beach access was fantastic and the area was uncrowded. We will come back but will try to rent direct. ##### Sandy P. The condo is in a great location. We were able to go back and forth between the pool and the beach easily. It was very convenient with little ones to go in for a nap. The condo was clean and had everything we needed for a great stay. The bedrooms were big enough for pack-n-plays for little ones. There was a can opener but it was broken. The unit was not clean and one of the beds creaked with the slightest pressure and woke everyone in the room anytime someone moved in that bed. Unfortunately it was the bedroom with two full beds and both were being used. The nightly fireworks right behind our condo and well after 11:00 kept everyone awake until they were over. Attempted to talk with on site management about it several times, but they just shrugged.
