For example, we were fortunate to see bald eagles just outside of the west facing windows as well as whales in the Sound. The bedrooms were spacious and the kitchen area was accommodating and met our needs and then some. Additionally, the properly is off the beaten path but just minutes away from shopping, the Mukilteo ferry, and other local attractions. The property manager was very prompt in responding to our messages and the check in and check out processes were seamless. It didn't hurt that the weather was perfect during our visit. The house was clean and well equipped. Know that a house built on the side of a hill is going to have lots of steps as well as a fairly steep driveway. There was some confusion on my part regarding the listing. I was not aware that the house could accommodate 2 bookings (multi-family) during the same time period. Fortunately I was in Seattle for a wedding and unknowingly my brother had booked what is the lower level, and my family booked the upper level for the same time period, so it all worked out. I could have been uncomfortable had it not been family. The beds were comfortable, and overall it was a lovely stay. After a short while you get used to the trains coming by. The house was very clean and the view of the Sound was great. Beautiful sunsets each night. The layout is a bit odd. But beds were comfortable and the kitchen adequately stocked. Outside deck could have been a little cleaner with 4 (instead of only 2) comfortable chairs.
