Kinnera Cottage - walk to the beach

Kinnera Cottage is one of those lovely thoughtfully designed homes that immediately make you feel relaxed and welcome. It was designed and built by our owners and has been their sanctuary away from the city for several years. We are honoured to be opening it up to guests to enjoy.

The Space
The bedrooms are all located downstairs to enjoy the cool summer breezes. There are 3 bedrooms (1 x queen, 1 x double and 2 x singles) and a full bathroom with tub.

Access to the fully fenced back yard is from here. There is a BBQ and an outdoor shower with hot and cold water to rinse off after the beach. Off to the side of the house is a full European Laundry with washer and dryer.

Upstairs is the open plan living/dining/kitchen. This is a gorgeous space which feels like being in a treehouse. There is a log burning fire for winter.

A beautiful fully equipped kitchen and 2 decks to chase the sun. There is also a half bathroom up here.

The sunsets from the front verandah are spectacular. Kinnera means beach in Nepalese and our owner has dedicated a lot of her life to Nepal. You will see photos and artefacts from here and can also learn about the charity she heads. You will be perfectly located - the beach is only a 7 minute walk away and the famous Mossy Cafe is just down the road.

Settle in and relax and enjoy everything Kinnera has to offer.

Dogs are welcome but please note: not on furniture, beds or lounges; there is no dog door so when residents are out dogs must be left outside in the fully fenced back yard; in the event of damage your credit card will be charged and an extra cleaning fee applied if evidence of dog hair/paw prints on bed linen or soft furnishings. We have baby gates at the top and bottom of stairs and also a high chair for our younger guests!
