Wonderful hosts. Really went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The lodge is retro but so perfect. Nice and quiet out in the country. Mountains and green space. Lovely sitting on the deck in the late afternoon with the sun setting. Just lovely.

It's a quiet suburb of Dunedin close to the international airport. Dunedin is an interesting looking city of about 120000. We we're able to just spend an afternoon there before flying out to Brisbane. Longbourne Lodge was on the way to the airport.
