House Galini is an adventurer's delight, surrounded by impressive waterfalls and hiking trails. Just 10 miles down the road are Beanstalk Ziplines and riverside Cawtaba Meadows Park with a playground, 18-hole disc golf course, and greenway for walking, running, and biking. The greenway stretches for a couple of miles from the Rocky Ford River access point, through Cawtaba Park, and onto Freedom Park, where there is a soccer complex, dog park, picnic areas, and tennis courts. The quaint downtown area of Morganton offers grocery shopping, movies, shopping, and plenty of excellent dining options. Famous Linville Falls, Grandfather Mountain State Park, and Lake James are all within an hour of the cabin. This accommodating home includes a wall of windows in the main floor living room overlooking an evergreen forest just beyond the expansive yard, where kids and dogs have plenty of room to run and play. The spacious kitchen and dining area adjoin the living room on the main level, and the main level wrap-around deck features a gas grill and outdoor dining. The lower level has a pool table, wet bar, and theater room and the outdoor flagstone patio includes a hot tub and gas fire pit with beautiful wooden Adirondack-style chairs. The main floor master bedroom with an ensuite bathroom has a king bed, TV, and deck access. Upstairs is a loft with a sitting area and two queen bedrooms sharing a full bathroom. There is a bunk nook on the lower level with a full-over-full bunk bed and a full bathroom on the lower level. House Galini has central heating and air conditioning for year-round comfort, wifi, and direct TV with streaming options on the TVs throughout. Two pets are welcome with your reservation, and additional pet fees apply. The garage is not accessible to guests. With custom details throughout, House Galini is a perfect destination for your next getaway! Additional notes: \- CANCELLATION POLICY - Bookings canceled 60+ days before arrival will receive a refund of the deposit. Bookings canceled between 31-59 days before arrival will receive a refund of half of the deposit. It had the number of bedrooms and baths we needed. I was disappointed in the cleanliness. The kitchen was not clean, the refrigerator was very dirty and I had to clean it out. My son found a toe nail in his bed so it makes me wonder if the sheets had been changed. The towels in the bathrooms did not smell very good so again wondered if they had been washed. I would also recommend the have some kind of tv in the main living area as I had a person who could navigate the stairs for the theatre room downstairs. Also I would suggest they leave more instructions on how to operate the TVs. We never could get the TV in the master bedroom to work. And finally we could not get the fire pit to work. So as you see there were a number of items that need attention. I expected more considering how much I paid for 2 nights stay.With all that said the location was good for our event and the community it's in is very nice. ##### toni l. We had a diabetic that was unable to walk downstairs to enjoy the theatre room (downstairs) but we enjoyed music and laughs on main floor.
