Morell

Travel Guide

Jumping on over to Morelle, PEI where I spent a few days exploring the area, you can find beautiful sandy beaches nearby. What I found interesting is that the north end of PEI is mostly white sandy beaches, the south side are red sand beaches. In Morelle, the land is red but as soon as you hit the beach, it turns white with beautiful large and protected sand dunes. There are no short supply of beaches on PEI so you never feel crowded by people. The north end in this particular location was very little rocks so it's best for swimming and lounging on the beach. It's also the best spot to watch the most incredible sunset ever.

Beautiful sunsets on the beaches in Morelle PEI. The image speaks for itself. Hands down the best spot to catch a view however parking is limited in Morelle, but you can find more parking down the island a little bit at Greenwich PEI National Park.

9.6/10 Exceptional! (305 reviews)
We spent 4 nights in the Luxury Ocean View Suite in mid February at a very fair nightly winter rate. While we enjoyed our stay and even had extra amenities due to the time of the year (complimentary continental breakfast), I would be reluctant to pay much more for a similar experience, even at peak ...

We used Morell as our base of operations and day tripped all over PEI from there.

Only one thing that I can think to suggest is that it would be nice if the hotel dining room menu had more selection for people that do not like seafood or have shellfish allergies. Other then that this is an amazing place to visit.

Not many dining options other than the resort nearby.

The place was very friendly...the kids enjoyed the balloons made by the manager there.

A beautiful place to stay but definitely out of the way of Charlottetown. We didn’t mind the 30 minute drive to get to town but we weren’t used to being even 10 minutes away from a convenience store!

Morell was a wonderful place to stay! It is nice and quite, but you can get into town or the more touristy places in about 20-30 minutes.
