You can sit on the front porch in a rocker and hear the ocean. The access to the beach is just steps away. It’s so peaceful here since there is no through traffic. The place was clean organized well set up kitchen, all nice towels and linens. Being right at the beach access was great for walks and surf fishing. We made use of a couple of beach chairs. This house was perfect! Walkway to ocean a few steps away. Nice deck to sit and listen to the ocean. My son fished at the shore and caught a variety of fish. We cooked great meals at Surf and Sounds, met folks at Village Market Resteraunt or met people doing dog walks or I meet people at the Gymn at Cape Cateret . I felt safe during a storm and the owner kept up with me on my visit. I would recommend a visit to Surf and Sounds . I relaxed viewing sunrises and running with my dog at the beach and sunets ( at the free boat ramp. Plus sleeping was amazing since I heard waves. ##### Sandi W.
