The village of Monteriggioni is surrounded by the intact circle of its towers that encircle its historic core and finds a place in Italian literature as the inspiration for the supreme poet Dante Alighieri in his Divine Comedy.

In less than 15 minutes you can visit the city of Siena, made famous by the Palio, held every year in July and August in the fascinating setting of Piazza del Campo. It will be fascinating to delve into its historical centre, divided into 17 Contrade, and try to reconstruct its history. Here you can visit the Palazzo Pubblico, with the Torre del Mangia, which adorns the beautiful Piazza del Campo, the Cathedral with its ‘facade’, from which you can admire an enchanting panorama of the city and surrounding countryside, the Museo dell'Opera del Duomo and the Pinacoteca Nazionale. Less than an hour away is the city of Florence with its famous museums and world-famous monuments.

The apartment has been recently renovated and tastefully furnished in Tuscan style. It is spread over two levels. On the ground floor: living room with a fully equipped concealed kitchenette, including all appliances (dishwasher, 2 induction hobs, microwave oven, fridge, and freezer). On the first floor: one double bedroom and a bathroom with shower. Fully air-conditioned and equipped with Wi-Fi connection.
