Detached country house finely restored, with private parking, private pool, large garden and sundeck; possibility to book dinners to taste typical Tuscan dishes in a large gazebo adjacent to the pool; it is also possible to use the wood-burning oven and the external barbecue. The location of the house, makes it unique for the short distances that connect it to nearby places of interest including:
• Monteriggioni Castle (3min drive)
• City of Siena (12 Km)
• San Gimignano, the city of the Towers (20km)
• Florence, cradle of the Renaissance (60 Km)
• Chianti hills, famous for the vineyards from which you get a wine known all over the world (10km)

Good Place to Stay in Siena area

Monteroggoni Castle is close by and a must see.We highly recommend to book the Paola's Dinners as they where a true delight.

Villa was perfect and its location was great for daily explorations to other cities. Good restaurants in the area. The owners, Giancarlo and Paola were wonderful hosts and very helpful and gave us good recommendations for dinners. Gianni was also a good resource for us.The pool and surrounding patio area was good for relaxing and the villa was well equipped for our stay.We even went on a special excursion with the owners, who went out of their way to make our stay a memorable one.

What an amazing experience! I highly recommend this hidden gem. The property was beautifully manicured. The hosts took such great care of us. They made the most amazing home made meal. We were spoiled with their food, and their attention to every detail. The location was perfect for daily drives to Sienna, Florence, and the surrounding little towns. Don’t miss out!

Great Tuscan holiday

We had a wonderful holiday. A really nice house, private garden and swimmingpool, all well maintained. Visited beautiful villages in the area. Paola, Giancarlo and Gianni were very friendly and hospitable.

Tuscan getaway

This accommodation is perfectly located to explore Tuscany by car. Easy to get to and easy to access all the major attractions of Tuscany. The accommodation itself was extremely well appointed, clean and with great air conditioning and fabulous pool. And our hosts were warm, welcoming and helpful. Highly recommend it.

Lovely Tuscan hideaway

As a family of 4 with two kids (18 and 17) we had a great stay here. The pool was lovely (and needed with the warm Tuscan weather). We were well located for day trips to Florence and Siena, and enjoyed an amazing meal in the hilltop village of Monteriggioni. If you are looking for a nice place to stay in Tuscany that is a bit hidden away, but well equipped and not too far from some lovely places, then I'd recommend this property.

Amazing Location & Hospitality

My wife and I both loved this property. The host (Gianni) was responsive to any questions we had. Gianni's parents (Carlo & Paula) live in the adjacent main house and were extremely hospitable. We honestly couldn't have asked for a better location or host/s. We would recommend this property to anyone that wants to visit Tuscany.

Tuscany travels

We had a wonderful stay! Gianni helped us have e-bikes delivered and we spent our days touring the area. It was easy to bike to Chianti, San Gimignano, Siena. There is a grocery store nearby, so we gathered dinner supplies and looked forward to a swim and dinner under the vines by the pool at the end of the day.

Our stay at Monteriggioni

Beautiful Tuscany! Our stay was just excellent in every way possible. The casa was so charming with everything supplied. Gorgeous 5 burner gas stove along with top of the line fridge, oven and microwave. Giancarlo, Paola and Gianni were amazing hosts, showing us the gorgeous countryside, cafes castles and vineyards. A fantastic trip.

Great stay. Paula and Jean Carlo who live on the property were awesome.

Excellent accommodations and great location to explore Chianti region. Paula made us dinner one night and it was excellent and couldn’t do enough for us. We invited them for drinks and snacks one night and we ended up drinking and eating all night with them. List of fun. Place is clean and grounds immaculate and pool is nice.

Evans stay at the Villa

We had a wonderful stay with Gianni’s family. A terrific home cooked Italian meal the night we arrived and they could not have been more helpful during our stay. The accommodations are comfortable and the outdoor space great for adults and kids. We had a terrific time. We bought appetizers and drinks locally and enjoyed good food every night. I would highly recommend staying here if your travels include the region. Craig Evans

The property was better than the pictures - Gianni’s place was AMAZING! It was exactly the Tuscan getaway we hoping for and it was that and a whole lot more. As a host, Gianni was spectacular! Always available to answer questions and provide recommendations and the welcome bottle of Chianti Classico was fabulous. Gianni thanks for everything- you were great!

Hidden gem; highly recommended

We had a wonderful week at Casa Rigioni - our wonderful hosts struck the perfect balance between attentiveness and giving us privacy during a very much need break! Casa Rigioni is a hidden gem with lush gardens and a lovely pool. The villa itself is well appointed and spacious. It is a short walk to a great bus route to Monteriggioni, Siena and San Gimignano. Highly recommended!

Amazing place in the heart of Tuscany

This place exceeded all of our expectations. The host and his family were amazing and very accommodated. Perfect size for two couples. Bedrooms and bathrooms were private. The location was perfect. We were able to take daily trips everywhere in Tuscany between 15 minutes and one hour. The house and pool were even better than the pictures portray. The place came stocked with everything you need For your vacation. If ever back in Tuscany I would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic property

The property itself was clean, well equipped & the amenities were great. The pool was exceptional & clean. The surrounding garden was immaculate, spacious & included a bbq which we used. A car is a must to explore beautiful Tuscany. The parents of the host live at the back of the property and they were extremely friendly & helpful. A big thank you to Paola & Giancarlo for making our stay extra special. I would definitely recommend this property.
