The room we stayed in was relatively clean but the mattress was like sleeping on a foldout couch. Normally that would be fine if the hotel was priced to reflect this level of experience, but it was stay for the evening was price at more of a 3 star experience. When we checked in the attended was nice and for the most part the staff did their best. The lobby is very dark and not as well lit as the pictures you see on Orbitz, and its very depressing. You don't necessary have parking on the property if you are driving. You can park across the street from the hotel or to the right of the hotel driveway where they reserve parking spaces for guests. I don't believe that people drive that often from what I see, so maybe its not a huge issue for most. I didn't spend much time in the hotel, but pool and bar area seemed decent. Have very little expectations for this place and you should be happy. Stayed here for two nights (dec28-Jan 1). Check in was pretty quick and they switched up our reservation to accommodate two double beds. Our room was a decent size, the air conditioner worked and it was clean. It did the job for what we needed it to do. The hotel is very old but we weren’t there much so it didn’t matter to us. We were located on the main floor in front of the pool, the bar, the restaurant and the jerk drum. We had the continental breakfast which was basic (toast, fruits, muffin, juice), but there was breakfast for purchase. Overall the hotel was ok. It suited us fine. We were up and about a lot so we didn’t spend too much time browsing the grounds. The rooms are severely outdated and in need of some TLC. The linen didn’t seem clean and there is no room service or restaurants on site which forces you to go out and explore the area.
