Sleeping four guests, the two-bedroom holiday home offers enticing, single-storey accommodation and a garden with picturesque views, from its setting 0.5 miles from Montacute. Wander into the picture-postcard village, with its honey-coloured hamstone properties, to visit the National Trust’s famous Elizabethan mansion, Montacute House. Tour the impressive building and explore its exquisite gardens and rolling parkland while you are here. The National Trust’s Tudor Barrington Court, 9 miles away, will also appeal greatly to history lovers. Spend time at Ham Hill Country Park, just 2 miles away, with its Iron Age hillfort. Keen walkers will also wish to plan a day trip to the beautiful Blackdown Hills, 17 miles away. Drive 4.5 miles into bustling Yeovil for a little retail therapy or to go to the theatre.
Ponder a while outside the barn, taking in the delightful scenery and savouring the tranquillity before heading inside. Enter via the hall, where you can unlace your hiking boots before turning right into the welcoming, open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner.
