Monte Runch Tours and Activities

The room was very nice but instead of a hotel room with typical amenities it was like an apartment. Nice space in living room kitchen but bedroom, shower area were really lacking. AC units couldn't keep up and shower handle was broken. So for the the price it fell over priced. Only redeeming thing is the manager apologized over and over. All of the staff were extremely nice.

We stayed here the night before catching a cruise. If your cruise departs from the main cruise pier the location can’t be beat. It’s literally a five minute walk. Ours was at the farther pier which required a taxi. However, the hotel is the perfect location for restaurants, shopping, site seeing, and train station. Trieste is very walkable, by the way with lots of restaurants and shopping. The property itself was meticulously maintained. The rooms are bright, modern, well appointed, and air conditioned. Included is a wonderful buffet breakfast with excellent selection and service. Our only minor gripe is the reception staff was not as attentive as we hoped, probably because it seemed understaffed. Other than that, would highly recommend.

We appreciated the central location and the beautiful old building well maintained with all the amenities and grandeur. The reception area was particularly enjoyable.
