The Rex Rugia Beach Resort is located in Lobbe on an approximately 85,000 m² park-like grounds with expansive green spaces. The resort is characterized by its charming, thatched-roof villas in the North German style. Inside the villas, you’ll find modern and comfortably furnished apartments with two, three, or four rooms—each featuring a balcony or terrace.

The natural sandy beach in front of the resort stretches about 10 kilometers from Göhren to Thiessow. The resort is located roughly in the middle of this stretch of coastline. A narrow, wooded strip of dunes separates the resort from the fine-sand beach, which is easily accessible via a wide footpath.
The resort is situated in the heart of Mönchgut, one of Rügen’s most unspoiled and scenically beautiful regions. Gentle hills, vast meadows, idyllic fishing villages, and protected Bodden waters characterize this unique peninsula. Numerous hiking and biking trails wind through impressive nature reserves, past traditional harbors and historic landmarks. Mönchgut also offers a wide range of opportunities for nature experiences, water sports, and regional cuisine—ideal for anyone who appreciates tranquility, open spaces, and that authentic island feeling.

INDOOR POOL AND SAUNA AREA FREE OF CHARGE
As guests at this vacation rental, you and your traveling companions have free admission (up to 3 hours daily) to the AHOI! water park with a large sauna area in the neighboring town of Sellin for the duration of your entire stay. There is NO sauna and NO swimming pool in the property itself.

BEACH CHAIRS
From April through October, beach chairs are available right on the beach. You can reserve these for yourself, subject to availability. Please understand that only a limited number are available.
