The room was spacious and for the price was good value. We were there with our 4 and 6 year old grandchildren so spent a lot of time down in the resort and on the beach. We walked down the steps and took a taxi back up the hill most times as it was very hot for the kids to walk back covered in sand. This hotel represents excellent value-for-money. The staff are extremely helpful & nothing is too much trouble. The views are amazing & the hotel is "close enough to the action", whilst being far enough away from noise". However, if infirm or difficulty in walking, one should consider elsewhere or be prepared to get a taxi everywhere. From "Ground Level" to the front of the hotel involves a climb of 199 steep steps - it certainly gets the heart pounding ! Taxi cabs are available at approximately 3 Euro's apparently. Negatives? The hotel could benefit from a little TLC & minor tidying-up / repairs. Nothing too big, just cosmetic stuff. Voor wat je betaald is dit echt een super appartement. Net appartement dat ze bijna iedere dag schoonmaken. Unsere Koffer kamen nicht rechtzeitig an, uns wurde von Iberia (Fluggesellschaft) gesagt, sie würden zum Appt. nachgeliefert werden. Dies haben wir mehrfach mit der Rezeption vor kommuniziert und auch -zig mal nachgefragt, ob es etwas Neues zu unserem Gepäck gäbe. Es stellte sich heraus, dass die Rezeption zwei Tage lang unser Gepäck im baggage room eingeschlossen hatte, und es offenbar nicht für nötig hielt, uns darüber zu informieren. Als wir die Verantwortliche darauf ansprachen antwortete sie schulterzuckend "I just didn´t see you.". Das war´s. Die Rezeption ist also nicht der Meinung, Gäste, die dringendst auf ihr Gepäck warten, darüber zu informieren, dass es eingetroffen ist - ZWEI Tage lang! Für das Wlan bezahlt man pro Woche 20 Euro, Empfang unterirdisch. Wir mussten auf den Balkon gehen zum Emailsenden. Außerdem gibt es für 20 Euro nur einen Zugang auf einem Gerät. Der Aufzug geht nur bis zum vierten Stockwerk. Wer höher wohnt, muss seine Koffer hochschleppen. Unser Zimmer war recht runtergekommen und abgenutzt. Das Fenster im Schlafzimmer ließ sich nicht richtig schließen, es blieb immer ein ca 1 cm breiter Spalt offen. Nachts war es daher entsprechend laut. Hotel staff is very friendly and helps you with everything, if needed. I stayed in room 601 and I had amazing view also. Rent och snyggt med förvånansvärt bekväma sängar. Bäddsoffan i vardagsrum/pentry hade dock en hel del i övrigt att önska beträffande sittkomfort. Hotellet är högt beläget uppskattningsvis 70 m öh, och man tar sig dit via väg eller trappor. Avstånd till stranden ca 500 m fågelvägen, men via vägnätet blir det ca 1,3 km. Väljer man trapporna kortas avståndet till ca hälften. Ungefär samma gäller för shoppingcentrum. Ett besök på stranden och ett besök i centrum blir ca 5 km gång i "kuperad terräng". Något att tänka på för den som kanske inte är så rörlig. Hotellet har sex våningar med hiss till den tredje. Från fjärde och högre gäller trappor. På tredje våningen finns en liten servicebutik och dito restaurang. Cocina muy buena, comedor amplio, habitacion buena con colchones estupendos, amplia terraza con buenisimas vistas, y lo mas impactante, es el cuarto de baño, modernisimo,mampara de cristal, plato ducha muy amplio, lavabo y griferia, nuevisimas. L'appartamento è esattamente come descritto dalle foto pulito,accessoriato e con un bellissimo terrazzo con vista sulla spiaggia di puerto rico.
