This rustic hundred-year-old house sits on 44 acres, which border thousands of acres of USA Forest Service land. Wildlife is abundant including deer, turkey and wild hogs! Have fun boating, fishing, waterskiing, or pontooning on Clearwater Lake, only a twenty-minute drive! Enjoy boating, kayaking, canoeing, or fishing on Black River only two miles away. I particularly enjoyed the patio. The kids enjoyed playing on the lawn. We were close enough to the river for a float trip and the lake for a couple of hours of fun after a day of rain. The house was perfect and we enjoyed all the porches. Watching the blue birds and hummingbirds gave us hours of relaxing entertainment. We were lucky enough to see a doe and her two fawns in the back meadow. The house is well stocked, clean, and comfortable. Please Note: The location is easy to get to. However, when approaching from the south, Google maps is off by about 1 mile. We ended up reading the mailboxes to find the location. ##### Angela F. The back patio was great, we spent a whole night out there. The kitchen has plenty of plates, which is a plus as some cabins I have rented are sparse, but there was not a mixer for mashed potatoes. The dining room table sat 6 and we couldn't find the leaves. The owner said there wasn't one, but my brother said he thought he saw one under a bed, so who knows, lol. The laundry room was huge, big enough to put our dogs kennel in. The internet was almost obsolete, which was fine for us. They had 2 hummingbird feeders and I did see a couple of hummingbirds, but the feeders need cleaned. The downstairs shower was a little stopped up as the water came out in a little stream. I would definitely stay there again. Piedmont is not too far for groceries and there is a mom and pop diner that was yummy, Zephyrs. Beautiful area and very relaxing. ##### Stacey M.
