« Getting to the property was tough, very tough but so worth it. I was lucky enough to go outside of the wet season but it was still hard. The facility itself is beautiful and the food is delicious. The staff is beyond kind and helpful. The shower though, it hardly worked and water went everywhere. « Lovely cottage with 3 bedrooms, 2 toilets and huge living room with the fireplace. It is set on amazing location with great views of Kimakia river and tea plantation. Stuff was very polite and helpful, they are available 24h a day. There is also power generator in case of power failure. The road to the property is a bit tricky, especially last kilometer or two. Our overall experiance was great, highly recommended! »

« The staff are amazingly helpful, polite and friendly. They made us feel incredibly welcome despite our very late arrival. The waterhole, good and service are great and this has been our experience in Kenya so far. Love the overnight buzzer system which alerts you based on number of buzzes as to which animals have arrived at the waterhole The Ark needs new windows and the shower takes a while to warm up. It is cozy though with the big log fire and the thoughtful provision of hot water bottles...
