Jua Retreat is a lovely resort nested in lush tropical nature. The bungalows offer lot of room for privacy and comfort. Allover it was a perfect stay in tropical paradise.

So Relaxing!

Had a wonderful time. Great location. Nice rooms. Absolutely amazing staff. Emanuel, Jamal, Musa and Hassan provide world-class service. Very professional and always pleasant. Highly recommend. Looking forward to returning someday.

Perfekte Lage, ruhig. Ideal zum Entspannen. Je nach Tageszeit können lange Spaziergänge am Strand unternommen werden. Baden im Meer ist wunderbar aber Bedeschuhe dringend empfohlen (wie überall auf Zanzibar sind Korallen / Felsen im Meer). Essen wiederholt sich nach einigen Tagen, Personal zeigt sich aber sehr flexibel bei den Wünschen. Also kein wirkliches Problem. Schade: bei früheren Aufenthalten wurde das Abendessen abwechselnd an verschiedenen Orten im Garten serviert. Das wurde dieses Mal nicht angeboten - und wir bedauern dies sehr. Wir kommen wieder!

There was nothing to dislike. Everything was just perfect, the staff and food was exceptional. Just four bungalow rooms, set apart which gave privacy. Coffee and home made biscuits brought to the veranda first thing in the morning to enjoy while looking over the beach and sea.

Hello & Jambo, We stayed at Jua Retreat for 10 days and it was perfect. The hotel deserves the name "PARADISE". The bungalows, the food and drink, the atmosphere and this view! But the absolute highlights are Hassan, Jamal, Emmanuel, Mousa, the kitchen chief, the cleaning team, our driver, our guide and the poolboys! We have never had such a great service. The team is incredible and we really enjoyed the talks. Especially we want to thank Hassan, he surprised us with a meal on a boat in the moonlight. Thank you so much! Hassan and his team are incredibly nice and good people. We will miss you! You only deserve the BEST! The concept of Jua is unique and just great. We are sure that we will meet again. Asante sana! We wish you the best! We really miss the juices, fruits, coconuts, tambi, chapati and poolside food! ;) Greetings from Lars and Ari (Shilole) from Germany! ;)

Paradise on Earth

Unique gateaway in a secluded area in Zanzibar. Amazing team of hosts, high quality gastronomy, perfect to unwind, rebalance and enjoy nature’s beautiful offerings. The colors of sky and ocean, the brightness of a sky illuminated with stars, the softness of the winds take you to a different dimension. Big thumbs up to Nigel.

Magic

our stay in Jua was a magic holiday. All the staff ( Hassan, Emmanuel, Mousa, and the Kitchen Chief ..) were very professional. They did everything we requested. The Villa is very beautiful ( the only thing to improve will be to avoid insectes come in...otherwise il was very nice ). The food was amazing..Thanks for all the staff .

Bliss.

Truly sensational. This ‘hotel’ only has 4 rooms so it has a really personal feel, the staff seem to take real pleasure in making you feel welcome, relaxed, well fed, and thoroughly looked after. The room was brilliant with great views and a private plunge pool. Asante sana.

Traumhaft schöne und ruhige Anlage mit bestem Ausblick. Das Personal ist sehr nett und sehr zuvor kommend. Das Essen super lecker, Dinner am Strand kein Problem usw. Wir kommen wieder!!!
