not the best but can't beat the price!

It's an old hotel so it smells a little funky. But it's close to the beach and a really affordable price, so that was awesome! Served breakfast so that was a plus, loved the lobby area! Other than that it really is a great place to stay if you're looking for something affordable, but that's just me I'm not that picky person that has to always stay somewhere nice. Hope you find what you're looking for and have FUN! I miss Miami! Def looking forward to my next stay spring break :)

Excellent location. Great price. Older room with a lot of work needing to be done. They are in the process of renovating. You get what ypu pay for it.

"Sensacional estancia"

Además de la excelente ubicación a cuadra y media de la playa y el super buen acceso al transporte público para llegar a cualquier parte, el personal del hotel Venezia fue muy amable y con disposición plena para orientarnos y ayudarnos en lo que hizo falta. Y como un plus adicional, la firmeza del colchón era justo lo que necesitaba mi espalda.

Tæt ved stranden, men så heller ikke mere

Min allerførste oplevelse med Hotel Venezia, var en kæmpe kakkelak kravlende op af væggen som vi slog døren op til værelset. Receptionisten grinte højt af mig, men vi fik dog et nyt værelse. Værelset var ikke rengjort i krogene, kun lige støvsuget over og lagt rent sengetøj på. WIFI'en var meget ringe på værelserne, men supergodt i hotellets reception. Bemærk at det er praktisk talt umuligt at få en p-plads tæt ved hotellet, og receptionen er hverken behjælpelig med at fortælle hvor, eller veksle penge til parkometer. AC'en virker, men larmer enormt meget, så ørepropperne fra flyet var velkomne. Morgenmaden var ret beskeden, men det der var, var helt ok. Cornflakes med mælk, donut's/muffins, ristet brød med smør marmelade og kaffe-the-juice.

it's just ok. nothing special about it. I didn't like the bed and the sheets.. Its not comfortable to sleep on.

The only thing I liked is that it was close to the beach, other then that I didn't like because it smell bad, wireless internet not working rooms not clean well, t v not working. I think this hotel needs more work in order to give a good impression to the visitors.

Don't go!

The lobby and hall was nice. However, There was no parking. The room smelled musty and smokey - despite it being nonsmoking. The mirrors, decorations, etc. were all lopsided and falling down. The sheets and bedding looked dirty and smelled funny. The carpet looked as if it belonged in a cheap 70's motel. The hot water didn't work. The wifi didn't work. There was no microwave or mini-fridge in the room. And, it is NOT near the beach. At least a few blocks walk - and don't even try driving because you'll never find another place to park! We walked in and immediately turned around and walked out. I called expedia and paid for another place. We stayed at the Freehand Miami Hostel - which, if you have 4 people in your group it's a better deal because you get an apartment.

It's ok for staying

The Rome was not new, the air condintioner was so noisy, so I turned off while sleeping. Near the road, a little nisei. It's good for its price. I will recommend it.

Horrible!!!

I checked in and checked out within 10 mins. Room was absolutely disgusting. I hate to give bad ratings but let me just say this so that i can warn anyone considering this hotel and save them from a nightmarish situation. Pictures on hotel.com did not match what i saw. I wish i could upload pics on here because i would love for someone else to see the comparison. Blinds were all cracked and missing peices, carpet stained, had a 1970"s tv in the room, bathroom tile was chipped and not smelling fresh. Room had window AC unit and it was off and room was hot and smelly. Dim lighting in room. I immediately walked back out to the reception desk and told them i cannot do this. He showed me another room and it was equally terrible. Called hotels.com and they assumed no responsibility and said that they will honor whatever the hotel did. I ended up getting a refund on all of my money and the hotel staff and well as the manager (Ash) was very pleasant and honest. He said they actually purchased the hotel 6 months ago and its under major renovation still.

It was a good stay at the Venezia for the price paid could have been lesser :) The best part is the beach is right behind and there are couple of good spots to hangout very close by like Carraba's and Soho. Can take a bus or Cab straight to South Beach like 10-15 mins drive

Not at all good.

This is a very old place; not well maintained; everything is below average. Not worth the price they charge; can be compared to a motel. Didn't get the room as per the reservation and the amount charged. Wont recommend to anyone.

We stayed for one night. Two adults and 2 young kids. The location is great. Only a couple minutes of walking to the beach. A little grocery store is right around the corner and places to grab a bite to eat are close as well. Parking is hard to find because the hotel does not have its own parking spots. The hotel is a little run down but leaves a clean impression. The room itself was spacious. The floors, bathroom and beds seemed clean.....but....underneath the bed was a disaster of cookies, old food and garbage. Quite nasty, considering it's a magnet for critters. The AC and hot water did not run properly at first and after telling it to the staff, it was played off with "it's an old hotel". Well, you get what you pay for. Anything under $100 in that area will be in that sort of condition. If you are looking for a cheap place, for a couple nights close to the beach....it's Ok.

Serviço razoável, fomos bem atendidos. Hotel antigo com portas dos quartos não tão seguras; as acomodações são para não-fumantes. O quarto sem carpete estava e se manteve limpo durante toda a estadia. Localização perto da praia mas longe da agitação de South Beach (a uma distancia de uns 20 minutos em ônibus), perto de loja de conveniencia, ha ponto de onibus quase em frente. Do aeroporto ha serviço de taxi por preço fixo. Cafe da manha razoavel. Recomendo.
