Methodist Medical Center Tours and Activities

Upon arrival as my wife and I entered the door we were greeted and welcomed by the staff replacing a baggage cart. We approach the desk asked if we could look at a room w/a kiing bed, and without hesitation we were given a tour of the room and the animinies, kitchen, computer area, gym etc. Very comfortable night and waking up and going down for breakfast the arrangements and food selection was outstanding, in all are stay was great and I would highly recommend .

This hotel is good for the location-even if you don't gamble- it is near both highways to get into Peoria or Washington/Metamora/Eureka areas. It is a little tired though and could use some deep cleaning in the rooms. You can tell there are a few upgrades like shower walls, doors and fixtures, but then there is peeling paint and broken tiles. Overall the staff was super friendly and helpful. They have a great steakhouse and bar on the campus area and inside the hotel is a bar open on the weekends which is nice. Plenty of parking even with an event at the hotel. I do like that you have to have your key to gain access to elevator and rooms. I would stay here again if price was right.

The hotel parking garage seem like a death trap. It has cement broken off the pillars its so low that I felt my car was going to scrape the top. Entering the lobby is nice and updated but nothing else. The hallway to the rooms looked like the poor city projects. It was dark and dim. The room smell like pee and I had a strain on my mattress. I did not stay I checked out immediately because I had 2 children and that was acceptable. It ruined my whole weekend trip to see my son at Bradley University I would never EVER come here again. I will stick with IHG hotels.
