This beautiful 2 bedroom, 2.5 bath pet friendly home sits on its' own spectacular waterfront peninsula with over an acre of land! Both bedrooms are on the upper level. Primary bedroom has a queen bed, ensuite bath with shower, spectacular water views and private balcony. The second bedroom has a queen size murphy bed, ensuite bath with tub and a queen size sleeper sofa. There is room for the whole family to enjoy the gorgeous views from every direction. The fully equipped kitchen features a refrigerator with ice maker, electric stove and oven, dishwasher, microwave and Keurig. The open floor plan flows beautifully into the living and dining area with ample seating. Fireplace in living is non working and for decoration only. There is however, an inviting outdoor fire pit for your pleasure. The lovely screen in porch expands your living space. The private dock is perfect for an afternoon of fishing, sunbathing or simply relaxing. There is an outside shower for cleaning up prior to preparing your catch on the charcoal grill. This gorgeous home on Bay River as well as Ball Creek welcomes the entire family to kick back, relax and enjoy the best that Merritt has to offer! Perfect for bird watching and regular dolphin sightings! This property allows a well behaved dog with a $25 per day pet fee collected by the host prior to arrival. This property is for your enjoyment and not shared with other renters. There are security cameras on the outside of the property. You feel like you have privacy without feeling totally isolated. The house is way cool. The view is awesome from the living room. The dock is a great bonus even if you’re just gonna watch the sunrises and sunsets. We saw dolphins swimming fairly close nearly every day. Just a tad disappointed in the fishing situation there at the house. I didn’t catch a fish at all and I tried for days. Went to North State Guide services and had a great day fishing that made up for it. Very clean property. Well maintained and looked like the pictures but better. The owners/hosts were great to work with. Beautiful area! The natural beauty (trees and natural coastline) might not be there much longer though. There was a lot of construction noise during the days. I hope the area doesn’t get over developed and take away the reason you travel there. As for now, can’t wait to go back! ##### Liam S. The house is adorable and immaculately clean. We had everything we needed for an amazing stay.
