Only downsides were the non light blocking blinds in bedrooms - good for early starts though; and the outside, persistent smell of rotting organic sea matter & mud! This can't be helped. We kayaked across to the coorong dunes to see the national park up close. The weather was unkind however we visited a number of nearby locations including goolwa, Hindmarsh island and the vineyard centre of Langhorne creek taking advantage of crossing the Murray via ferries. We were also enjoyed to the mullet fish : a tasty local fish.
