Alluring Farmhouse Styled Town Home

Summary:
This alluring farmhouse styled town home, just barely built in 2020 is sure to draw you in for a closer look when you notice the perfect blend of an effortless fresh feeling from the brand new estate mixed with the sweetest hints of a rustic home that you'd find out in the countryside where you can kick your boots off, hang up your hat and sit down at the dining table to enjoy a slice of mama's famous homemade cherry pie. We've added touches of artwork with wild horses, old metal milk cans, and plaid patterned pillows around the house and we've decked the place out with top of the line Tempur-Pedic mattresses in every room with hotel grade linens to ensure nothing but pure comfort and a memorable rest.

The Space:
This town home is equipped with 3 bedrooms, 3 ensuite bathrooms, a living room, a fully stocked kitchen and a dining table with seating for six. It is located right in the midpoint of McCall Idaho in a private residential area where you are less than a mile away from the main attraction Payette Lake, and conveniently close to the local Albertsons grocery store and pharmacy, a handful of coffee shops, restaurants and other fine dining experiences, gas stations and the Downtown area where you'll find popular shopping options or our favorite tasty ice cream and candy shops to grab a quick treat. You cannot beat this combo of a countryside feeling property that is this close to all you could need within the small town.

Guest Access:
We have a coded door lock so enjoy a hassle free self check-in process that requires no house keys and no need for being let in by the hosts. We are friendly people and should you need anything, we are more than happy to answer questions or help meet additional feasible requests for your stay. We are available via the platforms message system or text at any time. No garage access.

The Neighborhood:
Within the popular area of McCall Idaho you'll find breath taking scenery where the temperature's drop to that perfect sweater weather temperature in the evening and the days can be packed with endless outdoor experiences like fishing, swimming, or boating around on the lake, renting bicycle's in town to see the sights, hiking trails, embarking on off-road adventures, and spotting nearby wildlife like deer, foxes, squirrels and other curious critters who roam around from time to time.

The place was clean and cozy. My only negative comment would be that the kitchen was poorly equipped with dishes/silverware.

Good and Bad

The place felt a little dirty. Dirty towels left on washer and in washing machine. Long black hair in my son’s alleged freshly made bed upon checkin. Needless to say he was grossed out. The place is short on supplies with kitchen and towels. The garage door only works with keypad when the door is opened via the wall button inside. After you pull out of the garage the keypad works fine. It is not an issue with the #5 keypad button sticking, it’s an issue with the opener itself. The opener NEVER works when you get back to the place and try to park inside. Therefor, everytime you get back to the place after your day or night away, you have to send someone all the way around the building to enter the front door and buzz the garage open from the inside. The complex is very nice. The neighbors were all nice. The condo is located in a great place that is convenient to get anywhere in McCall. Very pretty neighborhood. The host was very nice and we were afforded a late checkout. We aren’t complainers so we didn’t call to complain about the above stuff, but we won’t be staying there again.

Family and Pet Friendly location

The house has 3 bedrooms, providing enough space for small families. The kitchen has the essentials, which was helpful for our stay. However, I was curious that they have enough of everything else but only 2 mugs. It is also dog-friendly, which is a great touch—there’s even a bed for the dog!The check-in process is straightforward and requires an application, which was very easy to complete. Communication with the manager was quick and efficient—thank you!The house is in a convenient location, easily accessible, and central to the town's activities.One minor "thing" we encountered was with the garage door: the code worked to close it but didn’t work to open it, meaning someone had to walk around to open it manually.

Farmhouse Town Home

It was our first rental with VRBO and we didn't know what to expect or particularly do. On arrival, we had a question about entry to the property and texted the owner/property manager and we got a quick, friendly response. We had a few more follow up questions and once again we were greeted with the same friendly, prompt customer service. The property is located in an easy accessible area when entering McCall and was central to the town and its activities and shopping.

Plumbing Issues unresolved all week

Nice property, Basement toilet clogged when we arrived. Never cleared while we were there. Dishes were dirty and sink leaked terribly,. Made management aware on second day. Never repaired. Did not have use of kitchen or basement bathroom all week. No one in McCall to service. Managed from Boise. Big problem. Too bad.

I booked the condo because it said it slept 12. There were only 2 queen beds and a bunk bed with full beds. Im not certain how the property owner thought that equalled 12 people unless we all slept 3 to one bed. Who does that? We had family members sleeping on the couch. We weren't too happy about this.

Very nice property in a quiet townhome development. Three stories. Bed and bath on each floor. Lots of stairs. New home in excellent condition. A few minor fixes necessary, but nothing to detract from our stay.

We were very disappointed with this rental. For the premium price we payed and the description/pictures, this rental way under delivered. The garage floor was filthy and had a broken chair in it. There was a hole in the wall. There was another chair at tue table about to break. The stair carpeting is very dirty. The towels were lesser quality than a cheap motel and there were very few of them. The sheets were equally cheap and low quality. There was not a bar of soap, shampoo, anything for guests to use. Per my previous experiences in even less expensive rentals providing this is pretty standard. The air conditioning unit makes it sound like you’re staying in a motel and does not even cool the upper master bedroom. There are no wine glasses (seems standard for a vacation rental). Overall the place was not super clean and just felt very low budget with a super high price tag. We would have been better off at the motel 6. I appreciated them giving us one extra hour to check out but other than that, we left feeling we way overpaid for a property that way under delivered.
