This is a charming, rustic cabin with everything you need. The host is on site, kind and helpful. We really appreciated all that he did for us. The cabin / RV park is quiet with that perfect mountain ambiance. If you plan on using the futon, be sure to ask for bedding. I didn't read the fine print ...

We had an amazing weekend! The cabin was the perfect size for 4 families with lots of kids! Our host Steven was friendly and made us feel at home! We loved the firepit and enjoyed our nights out there with the kids 10/10 would love to come back soon!

I loved the forest access. It was a huge bonus for me. I also loved how close it was to all the other hiking areas and cloudcroft/Alamagordo. Another bonus is hpw dark it gets at night and how little light pollution there is whoch allows to see stars. Even better, the forest was accessible at night ...
