The cottage was homely, comfortable with facilities and equipment of a good standard.
The cottage was homely, comfortable with facilities and equipment of a good standard. Communication from the owners was so caring, welcoming and friendly we knew we would have a relaxing stay. There were lots of thoughtful touches for example different coloured towels so no bathroom mix ups, an umbrella, torch, salt bin for clearing the steps in very cold weather, maps and guidebooks, books and games. We thoroughly enjoyed our break.

Lovely cosy cottage with amazing views from the terrace.
Lovely cosy cottage with amazing views from the terrace. Perfect for walks from the door and very handy for Bakewell, Buxton and lots of fantastic walks within 20 mins drive. Also within short walk of 2 pubs. The owners are really helpful and friendly too. Can't beat this place for a peaceful break!
The property was super-clean, well equipped, light and comfortable and I felt the owners had done everything they could to ensure that we had a great long weekend. Having two decent sofas and a good-sized tv screen meant five of us could watch Wimbledon when we weren’t out exploring the beautiful surrounding countryside. A pub with good straight-forward pub food is just 5-10 mins walk away but the kitchen is also well-equipped for home cooking. Thank you hosts!
