A proper village pub. Friendly and accommodating. Nothing was any problem for them. Food was excellent. Car parking might be difficult at times, but not a big deal. Looking forward to staying again shortly.
Lovely dog friendly pub in a beautiful village. Good local food as well.

Te staff at checkin were excellent, showed us to our room, and made sure we had everything we needed. Evening meal in the pub, was cooked fresh & very tasty. Breakfast was also cooked fresh. All in all an excellent stay at a very interesting venue.
Very friendly, helpful and efficient staff, especially the lovely lady who served tasty breakfasts. Lively, cosy bar with a good range of meals. Very clean, comfortable room. Quiet little village, not too far from Marlborough which has lots of shops and eating places. I'd certainly stay here again.
It was an amazing stay, everyone was so helpful and welcoming, room was lovely and clean with everything you needed for your stay.
The pub its self was brilliant and the food was lovely.
Would definitely recommend this place.

We had a wonderful stay with our little one. All the staff were really friendly and very accommodating. It's a lovely place that is undergoing refurbishment and you can see this in places with some areas looking a bit tired. However we slept so well and had an excellent meal in the evening with massive portions and also a brilliant breakfast in the morning. We would definitely stay again if in the area, thank you.
Enjoyable stay at The Crown. The staff were friendly, attentive and provided excellent service. The village and local community were lovely and welcoming, definitely worth visiting and staying at The Crown 👍👍
Excellent two night stay in a local village pub. Quirky and traditional all rolled into one. Staff, food and room was very good. Staff were very pleasant. Food was wholesome and hearty. Lots of walks in the area. Also some very interesting history. Definitely recommend 🌟🌟🌟Thankyou
This is a quaint pub with lots of interesting history. Although the accomodation is under renovation, the staff were highly accommodating and attentive which totally made up for any aspects of our stay which weren't quite up to standard. The food was delicious at both breakfast and dinner. Highly recommended and we will absolutely return in the future.
