![An example of beauty and elegance is Shri Mangeshi Temple in Goa. Located in Mangeshi village, Priol in Ponda Taluka,Goa, India. Mangeshi Temple is 400 years old and is a heritage site popular maongst tourists and locals. A spacious courtyard a large water tank surrounds the temple, and at it's gates stands a humble seven-storeyed deepstambha (lamp tower). History has it, that it's origins are at Kushasthali, now Cortalim village in Salcete.
Its simple architecture and colours speak less is more.

Lovely hotel and staf are super friendly and helpful. Only drawback on my stay was the number of weddings taking place on the hotel grounds. However, staff went over and above to accommodate, particularly Steffi. Great facilities, large rooms and very peaceful. Would highly recommend.
