Road end access to the beautiful Crystal Lake, Montcalm County, Michigan.

Road end access to the beautiful Crystal Lake, Montcalm County, Michigan.

8/10 Good
"Not a bad spot to stay, although we did not spend much time there. No real complaints (other than not being able to control the tempature in the house) about anything but also nothing really to gush about either. Cleanliness was pretty good - as in surface all good, inside drawers and under bed could use a little attention. The house is close walk to boat ramp but swimming beach requires a drive. Very close to a lot of lakes with public access for fishing, if that is your thing!"

Amazing 2-bedroom upstairs apartment in Alma with WiFi, AC, Cable

Amazing 2-bedroom upstairs apartment in Alma with WiFi, AC, Cable

8/10 Good
"Positives - it was clean, quiet, and a great location for downtown and the college. It was nicely decorated.Things to improve - the pillows are terrible. Hard to sleep well with such awful pillows. The towels are small and so thin. And though there is a big coffee pot, the only coffee provided was Folgers French vanilla. These are easy fixes. Go to Meijer and get new pillows and towels, and get a Keurig for the kitchen. Provide 4-6 Keurig cups to get people started. Lastly, do not use plug in air fresheners. They over power the space with a smell that makes your guest feel like you are trying to cover up something. This has the potential to be a very nice place to stay. But the owners really need to provide better bedding and towels. A bit of a tidy up outside would help too. And the house number is very hard to see in the dark, especially if there is already a car in the driveway. If these things were changed, I would recommend it."

Rare 9BR Luxury Retreat | Hot Tub | Game Room

10/10 Excellent
"We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful lake house! The views were breathtaking and made for the perfect backdrop from sunrise to sunset. The outdoor space was one of our favorite features, with plenty of room to relax, enjoy the scenery, and spend quality time together. The hot tub was a fantastic bonus and the perfect way to unwind after a day by the lake. What truly made this stay exceptional was the host. Communication was outstanding from start to finish. They were friendly, responsive, and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and at home. It's clear they genuinely care about their guests and take pride in providing a great experience. If you're looking for a peaceful getaway in a charming small-town setting, this lake house is the perfect choice. We highly recommend it and will return in the future! "

"The place was just what we needed. The views were amazing. If you forgot something they probably had it there for you to use. If we race again at the track will be staying there again."

"This was a perfect get away for the 4th of July. They do a great fireworks show right on the lake so you don’t need to leave the deck. Not a lot to do however we found a beach, crystal lake 10 Minutes away (go left from the road). General Dollar about 5 minutes away, there is Meijer, Walmart & Aldi about 20 minutes along with fast food. The beds were very comfortable & it was clean & well stocked along with grilling utensils. Only negative is the washer/dryer as it’s a combo & it never dried anything completely. I think they need to add instructions on how to use as I never knew they made combo units.I would definitely go back again, plus Mike was great to work with & answered all my questions."

3-bedroom house in fantastic Crystal with WiFi, AC

3-bedroom house in fantastic Crystal with WiFi, AC

10/10 Excellent
"This was an excellent location with a beautiful view. The house has 3 very nice bedrooms with 2 full size beautiful bathrooms and a half bathroom downstairs in the laundry room making it very convenient. The house also has central air which is a plus with the weather situation in Michigan. It would be nice to have a small TV in the bedrooms however for those who like to fall asleep to a TV or would like to watch something else from the one TV located in the living room. Overall, it is very accommodating and I would stay here again should I go back."

Vintage Main Street Retreat Sleeps 25

Vintage Main Street Retreat Sleeps 25

10/10 Excellent
"There were plenty of rooms for everyone and lots of space. We ended up 20 people of all ages and had plenty of room. The kids and the adults enjoyed the game room upstairs. Just know that the kitchen is not set up for a lot of cooking. We brought prepared meals, but I know there are catering options. Thankfully there is plenty of refrigerator space. "
