Excellent Space

Though we came in the offseason, I don't want to comment too much on proximity to things etc. as we were only in town to see a friend, but to focus on the unit itself, it was *great*. It was extremely clean, really comfortable and quickly felt very homey. I typically don't like home rentals (prefer hotels), but I'd easily recommend this to anyone staying in the area.

Nice and clean

The condo was clean, a good floor plan, and had a wonderful view of the water and boats. The beds were too firm. One of our guests forgot soap and shampoo, and most other properties we have rented had sample size toiletries as a special touch but this one did not. Also the kitchen was well stocked for cooking utensils but didn’t even have salt and pepper or any spices. Again, most other rentals we have been to had some spices and even left lil snacks as a special touch. Overall we would rent this unit again.

Beautiful condo in a nice community.

Well equipped, clean condo with everything you need except a hair dryer. Comfortable beds and couch. Enough room for our family of 5. Nice boating community but not a lot of sidewalks. The kids enjoyed the basketball and tennis courts. The pools looked nice but we didn’t get a chance to use them. Would definitely stay here again.

Great condo!

We love this condo! Our only complaint was the master mattress - we sunk in a hole lol and the master shower wasn’t cleaned very well. Some mold under the shower bench and the bottom of the door. Outside of that, we were very pleased!

Nice community, nice unit

Pirate's Cove is a very nice community. We enjoyed the exercise facility (we used it almost every day) and our son enjoyed the basketball court (one of the main reasons we selected this rental). The unit is very nice, was very clean and offered a good layout. A few negatives: we lost internet for a full day of our 4 day trip (not the owner's fault-portion of island was out but we were told this is common), and after being in the shower 5 minutes each day, the water would turn cold for all of us, 2 single beds were uncomfortable for our young teenagers, one of whom would come sleep on the couch midway through the night as a result (the other two mattresses were of good quality and comfortable though). Alot of noise from the neighbors above, including their two dogs, but thankfully we bought fans that helped drown out the noise in the early mornings, the only time it really bothered us. The dryer took multiple 60 minute cycles to dry a load of clothing. Overall, though, this was a very nice property with great views and nice upgrades--we are very picky and have rented many properties over the years. Community is top-notch-one of nicest we have stayed in. Town of Manteo was nice to visit too.

Excellent overall experience!

The property was everything I hoped it would be—clean, beautiful, comfortable, accessible, and well appointed. I’ve visited the Outer Banks many times and dealt with several realtors but Village Realty stood out as one of the best and easy to work with. I really enjoyed the Hospitality App. It made communication and check in and out easy, and I referred to it often for weather and things to do. My only regret was that I was there in March and didn’t get to enjoy the deck and amenities as I would have later in the Spring and Summer. I hope to be able rent there again.

Outstaning, relaxing, homey

Wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our five day stay. Accommodations impeccable, bed comfortable, patio and view excellent. Elevator near by, kitchen fully stocked, bathrooms modern and shower easy to use. Quite, but we were their in the off-season. Convenient to everything. The restaurant at the nearby Marina was excellent too. I shouldn't give such a great recommendation, as it will be harder for us to book in the future! We will be back. Just wonderful stay.
