Welcome to Orchard Beach House Unit #2! This sweet main floor, middle unit is decked out in beachy blues to inspire dreams of the Lake Michigan shoreline just across the street at Orchard Beach State Park. And as one of four separate units in the building, it’s perfect for families or groups that want to get together at the beach. The other three units at Orchard Beach House have the following setups: Unit #1 - 3 Bedroom, 1 Bath, Sleeps 10 Unit #3 - 2 Bedroom, 1 Bath, Sleeps 9 Unit #4 - 5 Bedroom, 4 Bath, Sleeps 22 Bedrooms & Bathrooms Here at Unit #2, when you’re ready to rest, sink into a Queen bed in the primary suite and watch some TV, while the kids settle into a second bedroom that features a twin-over-full bunk bed. Bed linens are included, so you don’t have to worry about making the bed – you can get right to relaxing. The sunshine-yellow full bathroom has a tub/shower combo perfect for families with small children. We provide bath towels, soaps, and basic cleaning supplies. Bedroom 1: Primary suite, Queen bed, flatscreen TV Bedroom 2: Twin-over-full bunk bed Extra: Queen sleeper sofa in Living Room Bathroom: Tub/shower combination, single vanity Living Area After a day in the sun, lounge in the spacious open living area, which has plenty of seating (including a Queen sleeper sofa), a large flat screen TV, and easy-to-clean luxury vinyl flooring. Kitchen & Dining In the same open space is the dining table with seating for four, and just around the corner is the kitchen area with additional bar stool seating. The kitchen is light, bright, and fully stocked with stainless steel appliances, a drip coffee pot, a toaster, a blender, and everything else you need to feed the family. Outdoor Amenities If you can’t get enough of the outdoors, relax on Adirondack chairs right outside your front door, or head around the corner to make use of Orchard Beach House’s shared amenities. Hang around the fire pit, get steamy in the sauna, or fire up the grill and dine al fresco at one of several outdoor dining tables on the patio. With an ideal location North of Manistee and close to the beaches, trails, and scenic views of Orchard Beach State Park, there is so much fun to be had at Orchard Beach House. Spend your days sunbathing on the beach, exploring beautiful Lake Michigan, and strolling through Downtown Manistee, then head home to the perfect, relaxing beach retreat. Things to Note To access this first-level unit, there are no stairs. Guests will be given a keyless entry code prior to arrival. The Boardwalk Vacation Rentals Promise: To our guests, we promise a memorable and stress-free vacation. Check in time is after 4:00PM and check out time is before 10:00AM. Please note that we are not able to accommodate early arrivals or late departures from May – September. Any request for additional time will depend on availability of the rental and an additional fee may be added to the stay. ARRIVAL: There is no formal check-in procedure. Arrival details are sent prior to your check-in date and will include the exact location of the property, parking and entry information. Guests will have a private, secure entrance and the rental is not shared by owners or other guests. DEPARTURE: We do have a very short checklist we ask renters follow upon departure. It includes making sure the property is left tidy, furniture is in the same place you found it, everything is closed, locked and turned off, and the thermostat is set properly. These items will only take a couple of minutes but help staff immensely. Please know that all rental policies and house rules are strictly enforced. This includes occupancy limits, age requirements, the ‘no parties’ and ‘no smoking’ clauses or any other rule posted online or within the rental. These are often defined by local ordinances, Homeowner’s Associations or other legal requirements and can result in fines or eviction if violated. We do not provide additional refunds for cancellations, late arrivals or early departures except as required in the posted cancellation policy. For safety reasons, there may be external security cameras in use. It was nice being so close to the water in both directions and not far from town. The place was very clean and efficient for our little family of 4\. The kitchen is lacking a place to put your own food that you bring with you, no cupboard space for our things so we kept them boxed up, minor inconvenience. And without a laundry unit on site, there wasn't a place to even lay out our wet swimsuits or towels from the beach. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay, thanks so much for a clean place to relax between our beach bumming around! ##### Kate H. We loved the space and decorations, very cozy and welcoming. The kitchen was missing a few “essentials” that would have been helpful such as scissors or a whisk. These things include: 1.Drain in bathroom shower is clogged (needs cleaning so you aren’t in standing water as your shower) 2\. No hot pads or oven mitts (so when you use the oven there is no way to take a pan out) 3.No dish washer soap (so we had to hand wash all the dishes) 4.Dish towels & cloths (we’re not equipped till we asked for them) 5\. The lights in the parking lot are very bright in the night and shine right into the bedroom window even with the curtains closed! 6\. Two can opener in kitchen and neither one works! 7\. Only two wash cloths for 4 people in the house. (The write up say all towels will be provided for each person in the rental) 8\. The floor leading into the kitchen is sloped and is a trip hazard to someone (elderly) also there is a slope heading into the bathroom too. (There is no mention of this in the description of the rental) 9\. Staples on the under the bunk beds that you get caught on as you get in and out of the bed. 10\. You could use more places to hang towels (bath towels, beach towels, kitchen towels to dry) 11.The picture near the sink is always falling off the wall (it’s to close to the sink when people are at the sink) ##### Debra O. Thanks for painting it so bright! Plenty of parking space. It's such a sweet location, couple miles from town and the nicest beaches! The place was much bigger than expected and had darn near everything we needed for our 4 day stay! Things we loved especially for our small fam, has a nice shower/tub combo and they gave us plenty of towels and washclothes. There were even small bottles of lotion and shampoo/conditioner! Our girls loved those bunk beds too. Grill and back yard space with several tables was nice for meal! Everything was clean and A/C worked great! They even supplied fans in each room. Host was super great at communication and responsive. Recommend 10/10! ##### Michelle H. We were lucky to have 50+ degrees in December and took advantage of it with a great walk along the lakeshore across the street. We will definitely be staying here again. ##### Jami M.
