I chose this hotel and called two days before check-in to coordinate my pick-up from the airport. The representative told me to call the morning before I checked in to inform them of my flight arrival time. I did as he said and the representative I spoke with that day said they had no shuttles available. One of the amenities they had listed on their hotel was 24-hour free airport shuttle, this was a shock and disappointment. I demanded they arrange a shuttle as I was very upset to have to try and use an airport taxi after planning on using the hotel shuttle. It is crazy that they took my passport. My employer not even allowed to hold it. It is Arabic hotel and you I felt stranger that a man who did not introduced himself just followed me in my room. The breakfast they ate is unsatisfactory for a 4 star hotel. No much choices of food. The personnel is just knocking at the door to clean without any request. No way! What a dreadful place....I was on the 7th floor, the night club on the 2ND....and I could tell you what was playing, how many people were on the dance floor and that they rock on until 3am. Bed sheets were clean...I think...but bobbled from over use and the electrics are an accident waiting to happen...mark my words, that place is a fire hazard. No hot water...luke warm, but not hot...but not being a delicate soul, that didn't phase me....the sticky bathroom floor however did up the revulsion points a tad. The staff was friendly offered good advice, and assistance. The room was clean and provided basic amenities. When I asked for an iron, it was brought immediately. There is a small restaurant which offers good food at decent prices. Within the hotel, there are places with live music; although, I did not visit. The only thing I was not happy with was the room temperature. I felt cold at night and no heater. Only the cleaners were friendly and one receptionist, the rest didn't seem bothered as they would leave you waiting at the counter rather than attend to you. The pool was closed and the top floor bar area, with no explanation given. The rooms were adequate, but in serious need of upgrading. Even with the notice in the bathroom to say it would take time for hot water to come through I do think 20 minutes to only get tepid water is in itself a complete waste, given where the country is!
