Wonderful property with a cave and waterfall to hike to. Cabin was perfect for our family of four, with an outdoor firepit and charcoal grill. Kids also loved fishing off the individual dock (caught multiple Bluegill and saw an otter)!
Enjoyed our stay for a couple of days. Did not leave the property. Enjoyed hiking, fishing, horseshoes, and relaxing in the cabin. Visited Mammoth Cave on our way home. Quick responses from hosts when needed. Thanks for a great stay!
My sister and I stayed for a week. The property is amazing. The hike to the cave is beautiful. We loved watching the birds, turtles, and Musrats. The cabin was comfy and clean. The porch and cookout area was enjoyable especially at sunset. The beds are comfortable.
the cabin/property had everything we were looking for. On a great fishing pond, firepit, charcoal grill, and then A/C and good internet for the down times. I loved the quiet of the place and my son loved the fishing. Cute cabin,
The cabin was spotless, with everything we needed. I was even able to catch up on all our laundry before heading home. Our pup loved the lake and running at sunrise with me around the property. The kids loved the loft and want to come back to enjoy the lake when it’s warmer.

Very clean cabin close to Mammoth Cave
The cabin is easy to get to and is only about 35-40 minutes from Mammoth Cave. It is very clean, adequately stocked, and the beds are comfy. The loft is a tight space but our boys enjoyed sleeping up there and using it as their hideout. We thoroughly enjoyed the private dock and the view from the porch. There is no tv in the living space, which was fine with us, but I could see other guests wanting one in there.
Everything was very well thought out! The cabin is so cute, up to date, with everything you need. A short, beautiful walk to the swing set that the kids loved! The hike to the waterfall/cave on the property is breath taking and our 3 and 4 year old were able to do it! And your own dock to fish off of! The kids have already asked to go back! There are many pamphlets in the cabin with recommendations of what to visit while you're there that we found very helpful. As well as a binder with local restaurants in the area. Highly recommend the short drive to The Lodge at Nolin Lake. We were all very satisfied with our stay and will definitely go back!
This cabin was perfect for our family of 5 (kids 4, 6, 9) plus our goldendoodle. The cabin was small, but more spacious than expected, and EXTREMELY CLEAN. We made breakfast and dinner daily, and the kitchen had all the necessary things to be able to do so (minus tupperware). The kitchen pots and pans were in great shape, and the cabin was super cute. Our 10 year old loves her space, so she actually decided to sleep in the loft, and the two littles shared the extra bedroom.
We went on hikes daily at Mammoth Cave, and especially loved the Historic cave tour, it was very cool.
Had a great vacation, and definitely would recommend.
Our family stopped here on our way to TN to see Mammoth Caves National Park. We loved this property and the cabin, especially the porch and dock on the pond. It was such a relaxing stop. We would definitely book again!
Property was better than advertised. Cabin was clean and spacious enough for my family of 5, kids ages 11-19. The private lake with your own personal dock was a huge hit. Host communicated wonderfully and was more than hospitable. Would recommend or book again.
We enjoyed the location of the cabin, the quiet surroundings, and cave exploration nearby! We would stay here again. Planning food ahead is helpful due to the rural area it is located. Overall, a wonderful stay!
The cabin was the perfect size for our family of 5, clean, and easy to find. We enjoyed the waterfall and trails as well. Communication was great! We also appreciated having service and wifi on property.
This vrbo listing turned out to be more than expected. The hospitality and comfort were a 10/10. Location and set up was a 10/10. Cabin was beautiful, comfortable, clean, and stocked with just enough of what we needed. The private waterfall/cave was my families favorite part! Except for my 5 yr old who favors fishing over anything- Private dock, we caught bass and sunfish. Plenty to do and so relaxing. 10/10. Definitely recommend.

Perfection
This is the perfect place to have a restful quiet safe time away. The cabin is spotless, the kitchen is well equipped, the linens are high quality, and the location cannot be better. I hesitate to really tell the truth because then when I go to book again - it will be booked up and I will not be able to reserve. We vacation and rent cabins a lot all over the US. This is by leaps and bounds the best we have ever stayed in. It was so beautiful with hiking and boating or just sitting in a chair on the deck readily available. The price was totally reasonable and worth the stay. If you have not found this gem to reserve yet - I highly encourage you to jump at the chance. The contact given helped us with every need we had - immediately - no long waiting and hoping. The cabin is new and fresh; the lake is beautiful with lots of wildlife in and on the water. There is even bike riding nearby at Mammoth Cave Park. Book now - you will not regret your stay!!

Fantastic Stay
Myself and 2 older sons, 21 and 19, stayed here for 5 nights. This place had everything we wanted! It's close enough to Mammoth Cave and was far enough for some relaxing down time.
The cabin was well appointed with everything we could want from laundry pods, to games and puzzles, to a well stocked kitchen for cooking. The kids loved the sleeping arrangements, one slept in the loft as he loved the caves and this made him feel like being in a cave. The other kid took the second bedroom. The lake was perfect for fishing and swimming. The fish are mostly bass, catch and release.
We went to Mammoth Cave on 3 days for tours. We did the Historical, Wild Cave, and Violet City Lantern Tours. The wild cave is very demanding so be sure it's for you. The crawling was hard but about 1/2 tour was walking to place no other tour would take you!
Note the county is dry so bring your drinks with you. And there are some smaller grocery stores around. If you want a big grocery store you'll have to drive 45 minutes or so. Just make a note of this on pick up supplies on route.
We enjoyed our stay very much and would definitely return for a future stay!
We had a WONDERFUL stay. The cabin was immaculate and the entire property was so nice. We stayed with our 4 kids, ages 3-10. Two of our kids slept in the little loft and 2 slept in the second bedroom (there is also a pull out couch). I highly recommend if you are visiting Mammoth Cave. The property was about 35/40 minutes away from the Visitor Center but most of the drive is through the park, so it is pretty. You can either take the Green River Ferry (kids loved it!) or drive around. It's about the same amount of time, Since the kids liked the ferry, we did that. One time we waited about 10 minutes but all the other times, we had no wait.
The cabin was perfect. The cave and waterfall on the property are beautiful! We stayed in Cabin #5. Cabins #4-6 and Cabin #11 all get a sunset view over the hill/lake. (Cabin #11 is up a hill a little bit but still has it's own dock, where as #4-6 are more on the lake).
There was so much to do in the area, we didn't even really get to explore on the property (besides the cave and waterfall). There is a playground and kayaks to rent. Grocery stores are sort of a hike (20 min or so) so it just requires a little planning ahead.
Highly recommend to everyone!
The cabin is exactly as listed. Very clean and updated - appears to be relatively new. All necessary supplies were there. About 30 minutes from Mammoth Cave. There are about 12 cabins spread out on the farm with lake and countryside views. We stayed for two nights…wish we could have stayed longer.
The cabin was spectacular. Check-in and instructions were easy. The view was lovely, the lake and trails easy to enjoy. Highly recommend, would stay here again!
