We stayed for one night at this hotel. We had lunch at the restaurant before we checked in which we really enjoyed - plenty of options and good quality food. The pool and spa area is absolutely amazing. Both the indoor and outdoor pools are heated and it feels very cosy once it gets dark with the different lights. There’s plenty of beds to sit by the pool and you can order drinks straight to you - I’d recommend the mango rum punch! As it was NYE the staff very kindly gave every guest a glass of prosecco whilst counting in the new year. The staff were absolutely amazing throughout our whole stay, very helpful! I would say the only negative about the place is the rooms. We were a bit disappointed as the room didn't have the same quality as the rest of the hotel. It was a bit run down and in need of redecorating, which is a bit of a shame as the rest of the hotel looks amazing. We would definitely come back but I don’t think we would stay overnight again unless there was a bit of a renovation with the rooms, however we would definitely come back to use the spa, pool and food services! ##### Shauna Séjour de 1 nuit en décembre 2025 ### 8/10 – Bien #### Ian 1 oct. 2025 Points forts : Propreté, état et installations de l’hébergement et confort de la chambre. At breakfast the hot water for the tea was only lukewarm and should be hotter. When I mentioned this to a member of staff they said I was wrong and that it was "boiling". It's not good service to say to a customer that they are wrong. Curiously on the second day the water was much hotter. When we checked in we were asked to complete a long form about using the spa without checking with us if we intended to us the spa. Check-in was good and a lovely welcome and walk around of the facilities by reception team. Toilets all seemed oddly low down to the ground?! Lift out of order for duration of our stay, which didn’t affect us too badly but you’d have had real difficulty if you were anything other than able-bodied. Not advised until check-in and bh that point too late to look for somewhere else. Pool area was nice, water far too warm however, more akin to a hot tub than swimming pool. Service very, very slow for drinks ordered around the pool and both at dinner and especially at breakfast. Veggie breakfast really good but terrible bacon on full English! No pots of tea and just drip coffee unless ordered from behind the bar which again was very slow. Dinner took over 30mins from ordering to arriving at table for just two mains of pasta and gnocchi. Restaurant host was too jokey for our liking which made for an uncomfortable dining experience. The SPA part looks very nice and cosy, nicely arranged, with nice features (water jets, multiple types of sauna, indoor and outdoor pool, etc.). The hotel room was comfortable, but with some dirty spots (especially at the toilet and bathtub). The phone signal and internet connection in the area it is extremely poor, and the hotel doesn't seem to fix the problem. The Breakfast team are exceptional....food out of this world, one of the best breakfasts you will ever have at a hotel. We are elderly and Olivia was so kind to us during our stay. The pool was wonderful on a hot day. Plenty of beds in the morning and a great escape to the air conditioning in the afternoon. Nicest bunch of people made this a great stay. Busy restaurant though. Started overnight for couple's spa break. Pool/spa facilities are great. Rooms are clean and comfortable with decent amenities, though the TV was old and out dated, hard to navigate channels and didn't have any streaming apps. Restaurant food was great, only slight issue was speed of service.
