It is a lovely narrow stretch of sand with calm and warm crystal clear waters. Watersports, scuba diving, sea beds, super markets and fish tavernas make this spot one of the most famous in the area. The AGIA PELAGIA sandy bay is about 2 Km away. It is protected from the north winds, and the sea is almost always calm. AGIA PELAGIA village has developed around its shores, so that's where you'll find many of the tavernas and cafeterias. In the center of Agia Pelagia you will find a super market, tourism offices, pharmacy, an ATM, tourist and souvenir shops and the taxi stand. There are many restaurants and tavernas featuring Cretan, Greek or international cuisine, and all have a beautiful view of the sea. As you dine in Agia Pelagia, you can also partake of the wonderful scenes around you, and snap these memories into a treasured photo album: the various shades of the rippling sea, the cute little kid building a sand castle, the old fishing boats anchored in the bay, the fishermen preparing their nets for the night's labour! Nov 6, 2016 #### Beautiful apartment and view We stayed in this apartment for a week and it was great. The whole building and the grounds are lovely and very well maintained. Our apartment was well appointed with ample room for the two of us. It was very clean, there was plenty of hot water and the bed was comfortable. The view was spectacular. We cooked some and the kitchen had all the items we needed. George was very helpful and attentive to our needs and we appreciated that. We enjoyed the little town in which the apartment is located. Wir hatten einen sehr erholsamen Urlaub. Die Abwicklung war in allen Punkten unkompliziert und schnell. Ruhige Lage. Betten für uns optimal (etwas härter). Bei den Küchenutensilien sollte deutlich nachgelegt werden, nur drei Teelöffel und zwei große Tassen ein Topf eine Pfanne. Der Aussenbereich ist sehr gepflegt und ordentlich. They even provided a pack-n-play, high chair, and pool toys for our 1 year old. Nous avons profité de la vue magnifique donnant sur la mer Egée. Rien ne manque dans la location: tout est pensé pour que l'on s'y sente bien. Le beau temps et les nombreux lieux de visite nous ont permis de découvrir un endroit vrai, riche et encore authentique. George nous a accueillis avec beaucoup de gentillesse et de professionnalisme. Il a été de bons conseils et nous a guidés vers les sites les plus intéressants. Il a su nous faire partager les valeurs de son pays et, plus particulièrement, celles de son île. Parler anglais à des Français peu polyglottes, c'était parfois très cocasse!! Peu importe, nos échanges ont toujours été agréables et on a ri.... surtout après le Raki qui a fait rêver: chanter en Grec, danser le Grec .. il ne reste plus qu'à le parler! Et que dire de Claire? The views are stunning and the apartment had everything you would need (sunshine included) and was immaculately clean.
