Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
The Superior room is the absolute best room at the Alpine Hotel. This was our second stay with a family of four. The room was spotless, the breakfast (book through the app instead of paying on site) was so great. Fresh cold cuts, fruits available and a hot grill line for eggs. You can also get pancakes, pre-made scrambled eggs and bacon.
The fact it’s attached to the ski area is the perfect setup for our family. We can drive in a day, stay at the hotel, have breakfast and jump on freshly groomed slopes by 0900.
Great restaurants and a varied choice.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner where very, very good.
All the resort is exceptional for someone looking to start skiing.
The rooms are average but decent for the costs.
Had already stayed 3 nights and wanted to stay an extra night, it was easy to book it through hotels.com. The stay was part of a ski group, food a little limited, rooms clean, beds too soft for my liking but thats personal choice.
Didn't like the fact everything had to be paid for with your card.loved the atmosphere and the attitude of the staff. Very pleasant ,helpful, really lovely staff went out of their way to make sure you enjoyed your stay

The room voor 4 people was great, lot of space in the living area. There were 2 single beds in small area there was also the sink.To small to share with 4 people. The shower and toilet room were near each other but could not used by 2 persons together. To fashion and not practical. A pity and there was nog kettle or coffee machine.
The living room and view were gorgeous.
Bed was sagging in the middle, not hotel quality.
Rest was good but the reason is a good bed and night sleep. They are renovating the hotel but a bit sad to keep renting out rooms that have beds that are broken.
Needs major work doing on it
I’ve been staying at this hotel for years and have seen it decline substantially over that period, it is in need of a major overhaul
Firstly, a number of the door closers for the room doors are broken, which means the heavy doors are constantly being slammed all day and all night, multiple times an hour, it literally shakes the walls. Even with ear plugs in, I was being woken up constantly. This is simply unacceptable and is an easy fix.
Next, the air conditioning isn’t working, meaning the rooms are uncomfortably hot, making it very difficult to sleep.
The bedding is of poor quality. The duvets aren’t big enough to cover you if you are a side sleeper (like I am), so either your front or your back isn’t covered by the duvet. These are the smallest duvets I have ever seen in a hotel. The pillows need replacing, they are that old they offer no support and you might as well just not bother with them.
There are also minor cosmetic issues right across the hotel, worn carpets, holes in walls that have been covered over by some wood.
I won’t be staying here again until it is refurbished.
