Lychenlodge on Lake Oberpfuhl with a canoe and a fireplace

The house is located on Lake Oberpfuhl on our 3,300-square-meter property; guests have approximately 500 square metres at their disposal. The heart of the property is not visible from the outside. We don’t live on the property ourselves, but we’re often there, especially on weekends. The house is in a quiet location, free from street noise, at the end of a sandy path. Nevertheless, you’re on vacation right in Lychen. Supermarkets and bars are within walking distance. A hiking and biking trail runs right past the property.

The Accommodation
For cozy evenings, there’s a fireplace in the living room. Outside, you’ll find a covered and lit dining area with a swing chair, a grill, and a fire pit. The house has two Full HD TVs—one in the living room and one in the bedroom on the top floor (with internet access). Both receive their channels via satellite. There’s also Wi-Fi (50 MB/s download / 25 MB/s upload) for streaming services via a mobile data plan (limited to 300 GB per month).

The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, a refrigerator with a freezer compartment, a microwave, a four-burner glass-ceramic cooktop, and a convection oven. The large bathroom, which features a shower and bathtub, also includes a washing machine.

The living room has a sleeper sofa with a sleeping surface measuring 120 x 190 cm, which can accommodate one person or a couple. However, the large bed is located in the attic. The house is ideal for 2–3 people with a child. However, it can also accommodate four people. In that case, though, guests should get along well, since 2 or 3 people will be sleeping in the attic (there is also a fold-out sleeper chair there—or two people downstairs and two upstairs). That’s why we’ve listed the house as a 3-person accommodation. If you’d like to come with more than 4 people, please send us a message in advance.
The attic is not acoustically separated from the living room and kitchen.

Guest access
If you’d like, you can use our canoe for free during your vacation (a similar one costs €40 per day from a local rental company). A boat cart is available for transport. You can already see the lake from the property. The nearest launch site on Oberpfuhl Lake is 260 m from the property; Nesselpfuhl is 450 m away. The Stadtsee is 1 km away.

Additional Important Information
The property is very sunny. Sun (when it’s out) from morning to evening. We’ve also created shaded areas if you’d like to get out of the sun. In the evening, you can build a fire in the fire basket without disturbing the neighbors. The Wi-Fi signal is strong enough to reach the outdoor area. Please note that pets are not allowed inside the house.

The health resort of Lychen charges a visitor’s tax. During the high season (April through the end of October) €2.00 per person (ages 16 and older) per night; during the rest of the year (off-season), the tax is €1.50 per person per day. The visitor’s tax must be paid on site and is not included in the listed prices. We’ll handle the registration and payment with you at check-in.
