"Great location, and the staff made it right!"
The room was on the smaller side, and we had an issue with the AC. The staff quickly gave us a new room and handled our luggage, so we didn't have to move it ourselves. We slept peacefully after that. The location is great, and there are plenty of options nearby for kids to play. We will definitely book again!
We only stayed one night, we arrived at dark and left in the morning because we were just stopping on our way to Maine. When we walked outside the next morning and actually saw the property at daylight we were blown away at the beautiful views. The fall colors were breathtaking. The rooms were clean, the beds were comfortable. I would love to come back and stay a few days and just take everything in.
The room was huge, clean and comfy, perfect for our one night work related stay. All the staff, especially Deann at the front desk, and the waistaff and planner at the wedding we were at, were exceptionally friendly and helpful. We were very impressed with their kindness and professionalism.
We stayed two nights, however they were booked at different times so we had to change rooms. Both rooms were excellent, but we preferred the main inn. We loved everything about this property. We’d love to learn to ski so we could return for a winter vacation. The tavern had great food. We highly recommend the cheese board. Also, we really appreciated the self-serve, free coffee, hot cocoa and flavor enhanced water! There is a little town very close for more restaurant option.
Bed was a very uncomfortable Murphy bed which was not disclosed when booking. Property and room did not feel clean. Property amenities were nice and in a convenient location.
Everything about this property was exceptional, EXCEPT the bed. We had an amazing time, enjoyed the lift to view fall colors & mountain coaster. But we had a miserable experience sleeping. The beds are like rock. I know it's the granite state, but get some toppers!
My daughter and I were looking for someplace to meet in the middle… one coming from upstate New York and one coming from Massachusetts. This was not the first hotel we looked at. Fortunately it is the one we stayed at! The facility is very nice, even though older still very well maintained. Staff was exceptional! The location was perfect for just a fun getaway weekend. The downtown area has some lovely restaurants and shops but the restaurant at the resort was also very good. We enjoyed the area so much. We're talking about going again in the winter, even though neither of us have skied in ages!

After check in, we went to our room (516). When we walked in, there were people already there and they had slept in our beds! We were initially quite upset and I immediately went to the front desk and complained. To the benefit of management and the staff, they apologized many times for the misstep. And immediately upgraded up to a two bedroom suite.
Great summer stay. Clean spacious room. Pools were nice great for young kids.

This is our second time staying at Jackson gore. The room was perfect. We were looking forward to spending some time in the outdoor hot tubs and was told they were under maintenance which was unfortunate. Also we were booked the weekend after the ending of summer activities (mini golf and mountain coaster) but they had posters hung all over advertising the Halloween glow mini golf and scary mountain coaster event the weekend after we left. We really loved the mini golf last year so that was unfortunate that they didn't choose to continue this on the off week in between. Overall, we will be back again next year! Maybe the week before so we can catch more amenities. We love Ludlow VT and the easy access to everything near by while staying at Jackson Gore.
Staff was super friendly at check-in. Room was very clean and quiet. The location was fantastic as we stayed on 4th of july weekend so fireworks were right down the road. Close to quite a few great things about the area. We had breakfast at the Tavern both mornings and it was quite good and not nearly as expensive as you might expect it to be in this type of resort.

Front desk staffs are really helpful and friendly, (esp. Farjah) the amenities are excellent especially the pool and hot tub (they have a big swimming pool and the view and area is amazing), they have sauna room, arcade room, playground . The mountain coaster is the best!!
But we have problem with our room, the carpet is not that clean and there are lots of fruit flies in our room, We stayed for a night and since we are really tired from our travel and activities we forgot to inform the staff and didn’t thought that we can ask to change the room not until we got home. Our room was in the 3rd floor and didn’t know why there are lots of fruit flies inside.
Jackson Gore resort far exceeded expectations. Friendly staff, flawless grounds, and plenty of summer activities. Short drives to other beautiful Vermont towns, and much more.
Everything was great, inside and outside clean and well-maintained. Air conditioner did not work well. Room wasn't hot, but not cool either - only issue we have. We would stay again.
This is a great hotel for ski in/out. Property has nice amenities but the rooms and common areas are very out dated and needs a refresh. Jackson Gore is great for family skiing and very easy to access the rest of the mountain.
Property beautiful.
Rooms very large.
Staff very friendly.
The only thing that was odd to me was none of our closets had rods to hang clothes on. We were going to a formal wedding, my husband had a suit and I had a long dress to hang up, but the closets had no rods, and we had 3 closets in our room.
Had to hang the suit from a door handle and the long dress from the shower rod!
