Beauty is evident from every porch and window of this well appointed rustic cabin. The host has thoughtfully provided all amenities needed to give guests the comfort of home while enjoying the quiet fields and wooded areas surrounding the cabin. They were most accommodating and responsive to any needs or questions. If you’re bird/nature watchers, this location does not disappoint! While it seems remote, Louisville and surrounding towns are close enough to provide great entertainment and dining options. Knox with our sons. The proximity to Ft. Knox made the back and forth travels super simple and quick. The property is amazing!! So peaceful and private - the covered porch was the perfect spot to read a book on the porch swing or take a nap or just take in all the sounds and views the surrounding nature and the River provide. The cabin itself is so charming and no details were missed in providing a “home away from home.” The surrounding fields of sunflowers were an unexpected bonus!! The communication and friendliness with the owners was fantastic - very quick responses and very flexible with schedules and other accommodations/requests/questions. Despite mother nature getting in our way - we really enjoyed our short stay at this beautiful cabin.
