"BEAUTIFUL location, ideal for walks and driving around the Lake District. Very well equipped spa/resort hotel with plenty of FREE parking. Nice restaurant, VERY large room with nice view. Full bath to relax in after a day's hiking."

Luxury lodge, Bassenthwaite,Nr Keswick, at the foot of Skiddaw.
"The lodge was beautifully positioned with a view of the lake from the spacious decking. Kitchen was well equipped and beds were very comfy. I loved listening to the birds in the morning and my daily evening walks with the dog and children down by the lake. So peaceful and relaxing. We even managed ..."
