The house is perfect for two people and has everything you need. Located toward the center of the island makes it easy to ride bikes in any direction. I just loved the peace and quiet and watching the sunset, hearing the birds, the deer, the peekaboo view of the water. The property provides a quiet retreat - off the beaten path. The house is well- appointed, particularly the kitchen. Loved the shower! Lots of interesting items around the house that feature the owners interests - some of them made us smile - like the cute coasters from England. Because of other commitments, we weren't able to enjoy the hot tub or covered patio, but both were a nice addition to the property. Francisco, the assistant, was very helpful and pleasant. We enjoyed our stay - really needing the quiet to unpack the work we were dealing with during the day. The setting was private and gorgeous, there is a hot tub in which you can look up and see the stars with no light pollution in the backyard. It is spacious and has advanced amenities that are unparalleled of any Vrbo or other companies and private rentals that we have stayed in and we are avid travelers! Communication with the host and the caretaker were excellent and they allowed a late check out because after our wedding we stayed up talking until five in the morning.
